Chelsea play down pre-Cup final bust-up between Terry and Ten Cate
Whether she'll be a footballer's wife for much longer is a matter of much debate, but Mrs Ashley Cole - Cheryl from Girls Aloud - has topped a magazine list of 100 Sexiest WAGs.
The accolade will provide some cheer to the Geordie pop princess, who is allegedly deciding what to do with her husband, Chelsea left back Cole, after Sunday newspaper reports that he had been playing away from home - and not in a Blues' shirt. Ashley was dropped from Chelsea's starting line-up for their 2-1 Carling Cup Final defeat to Tottenham at Wembley on Sunday.
The hit parade, or rather Nuts magazine's top 10, is as follows:
Cheryl Cole: married to Ashley of Chelsea and England
1. Cheryl Cole (Ashley Cole, Chelsea)
2. Gemma Atkinson (Marcus Bent, Wigan)
3. Racia Oliveira (Ronaldo, AC Milan)
4. Carly Zucker (Joe Cole, Chelsea)
5. Lorena Bernal (Mikel Arteta, Everton)
6. Coleen McLoughlin (Wayne Rooney, Man Utd)
7. Melanie Slade (Theo Walcott, Arsenal)
8. Abigail Clancy (Peter Crouch, Liverpool)
9. Claire Bellamy (Craig Bellamy, West Ham)
10. Nicola Carragher (Jamie Carragher, Liverpool)
Here at Sportsmail online, we consider ourselves to be a little (only a little) more discerning than the judges at the glossy mag.
We've narrowed it down to a slimline six for our top WAG contenders, and we'd like you to decide who's top of the hots in our poll by clicking here.
Don't forget to take a good look at their pictures first.

Carly Zucker: long-term partner of wing wizard Joe Cole
Ruth Reynolds: Mrs Nigel Reo-Coker
Noemie Lenoir: paid attention to those M&S ads? Claude Makelele certainly has
