Numéro 92 April 2008 : Catherine McNeil by Greg Kadel

She's done more than one IMO ^_^

And it doesn't remind me of Sasha's edit at all, beside the fact it's in B&W

I understand some people might not like her but I feel all this hate is forced and injustified... Same goes for Agyness: one can say she's overexposed and they don't like her, but she's clearly not a bad model... With all the models around, a BAD model wouldn't get so many major bookings...

Well in my opinion it does remind of Sasha's edit. And I still hate McNeil because she's still quite boring to me. And because she's overrated. Oh and a bad model wouldn't get so many major bookings? Trentini comes to the mind immediately, I think she's quite a bad model too. I don't like Agyness because of her 'style' and hype and everything, but she is a good model. I admit that but McNeil still hasn't proved herself to me.

The ed looks very good, but I was wondering... those "par Greg Kadel" letters are bigger than usual, aren't they? Have they changed the layout of the magazine???

I dislike Caroline's work as well but I don't know if she's a bad model... I think she just gets bad bookings, especially editorial-wise :ninja:

I don't understand why there's a dot after "par"

^the pictures are just a preview. they're not scans from the issue.

The only thing that is injustified is using the same ignorant defensive remark as hate. How can you hate someone you don't know? Isn't there a fine line between a good and a bad model while the letter one can be expressed without hating. She's here to do a job and she does it poorly, taking advantage over the girls who could have done the job much better. Girls that deserve this in other words. Aggy at least does justice to the camera and clothes.
Stop generalizing people using hate as reference, thanks.

^ hey, no need to get on your high horse. You know what people mean when they use the word "hate" in that context

I expected maybe too much from her. This editorial is boring in my opinion.

Not this discussion again....I think it's very remarkable how this discussion gets twisted around to somthing completely different every single time and that is an argument on the word 'hate' or 'hater'. Now that is annoying.

I think it is completely ridiculous to say that a model takes advantage over other girls because she gets all the good ones...it's not like she books herself or anything  If you feel this way then don't blame it on Cat, but blame it on Next, Numero and Greg Kadel. And twenty more photographers, magazines and fashion houses.

No I don't and neither do they as I see it. Hate is hate, regardless the content.

Not this discussion again....
Because you were the one to start it last time? This is a forum and wheter you quote people using arrogant remarks for their opinion, they'll obviously higher their voice. Thankfully there are differently opinionated people in here.

OK excuse me Ghandi, i'll watch my words next time.

Major LOL

Can't wait to see the contents as well.

and I agree with you Mr. Dale.

This editorial isn't something either. It reminds me of the VP edit with Sasha+Hedi, and Sasha of course did it way better.

I will take Catherine over Sasha any time because Cat is gorgeous and Sasha is freaky, at least to me.
Cat killed me with this ed.She is the definition of stunning

I absolutely adore Catherine's ed. It shows she has real control when she can do extreme shots like those yet keep her pretty

I've just seen it in a bookstore this evening. It was very quick though and I had many different mags in hand... There's Karlie Kloss inside this issue and I'm not sure but I think another one is Elsa Sylvan. Not sure at all for her, I may have seen her in another mag and got confused...
