*Official MBFW Schedule Attached

New York, NY (January 11, 2010) – From February 11-18, 2010, during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week (MBFW), thousands of fashion industry professionals will come together in Bryant Park’s iconic Tents for one last week before MBFW re-locates to Lincoln Center in September.

Starting off a New Year and new global fashion cycle, the retailers, reporters and editors are eager to see the Collections from the world’s established and up-and-coming designers, and how this creative community sets the tones and trends for what we will wear in Fall/Winter 2010.

“As we close a chapter in the history of our event, IMG is excited to be working with Lincoln Center, the CFDA and the City to create a new home for the fashion industry at Lincoln Center,” said Peter Levy, SVP and Managing Director of IMG Fashion Worldwide. “We are looking forward, with our partners, to rolling out our plans in the coming months.”

“All of us at IMG Fashion are excited about the outstanding and stellar lineup which has come together from around the world to share in this historic Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week,” said Fern Mallis, SVP of IMG Fashion. “This will be a significant season, as we reflect on 17 years, 31 seasons and close to 2,500 fashion shows in Bryant Park that have launched many careers….from Designers to Editors, Models, Producers, Celebrities, TV Commentators and Reality Shows. looking forward to alexander herchcovitch and narciso. i'm surprised he's at the tents this season.

the rest i can take or leave.

As always I'm überexcited for Marc Jacobs, can't wait to get the day confirmed + Calvin Klein, Vera Wang and Ralph Lauren.

And I guess Promenade means Vera won't show in her boutique again? It'd be a pity, I loved the venue so much.

Well I am planning to be outside the tents, and both try to get some candid pics and burn through some spare rolls of 120 film. Bryant Park during Fashion Week is where my reign of terror began.

But I'll mostly be meeting with a model who recently left NY Model Management to freelance, as we have a shoot to discuss. Eh, NYFW seems a good place to talk to a model about work.

I'm excited for Donna Karan, Michael Kors, and Ralph Lauren. I don't see Rodarte?

Thanks Bridow! Anyone have any news on the MAC/Milk Studio schedule?

It will be a bit sad to see Fashion Week move to Lincoln Center, but logistically it'll be better for everyone involved later this year. Can't wait for this upcoming Fashion Week, however.

rodarte girls probably haven't confirmed their venue as of yet and it's also probably a different location away from the general show venues. sort of like the tents were the place.

tess giberson is also making a much-anticipated(at least for me!!!!)return this season

this isn't the complete schedule...
as there are updates, they will be added here...:flower:

Very exited already. But the List doesn´t have the presentation shows like Marchesa.?

The list seems to be missing a few names.... Rodarte? The ONLY show that gets me excited in New York. Oscar de La Renta...
Also, whats happening with Betsey Johnson?
And doesnt La Perla usually show in London/Milano??

Betsey Johnson usually does a presentation at The Plaza Hotel. Its more like an 80s party, but has been my favorite event(as far as fun factor) I've been to in New York.

Yeah, I'm guessing Rodarte is going to do something crazy at a different venue? Can't wait

omg, yes. u just took the words out of my mouth. Where is rodarte?? lol it is the show that i look forward to the MOST. during NY Fashion week of course. lol

The list seems to be missing a few names.... Rodarte? The ONLY show that gets me excited in New York. Oscar de La Renta...
