Well on the contrary (responding to Post #67), there's not one that I like.
Open-toe boots are overrated to me. I can imagine what colder seasons will be like while some femmes will make themselves fashion victims by wearing regular white socks into their black boots. Let's face it. If you want your feet to breathe, wear sandals or some variation of slingback or open-toe shoes. If you want to wear something to keep your feet and toes warm in colder times, wear shoes or boots. But deciding to go with open-toe boots purely screams "don't know what to wear." It's another case of "I can't decide between this and that, so I'll wear these this-thats." The case here is "I can't decide between boots and sandals, so I'll wear these for the best of both worlds." Bad idea. Don't some of you fear of your feet getting sweaty in boots like these? Only open-toe boots I'd be interested in or like would be any that have an open-toe and open sides. A slingback design is optional.
You can defend these boots all you want. I find nothing stylish/cute/fashionable about open-toe boots. Maybe I loosen up on them in the future. But for now, I fail to find anything to even warrant recommending wearing these open-toe boots with any sort of outfit. It's a fashion faux pas in which I fail to find anything even remotely fashionable about these open-toe boots. Open-toe pumps work because they are shoes and don't look like the creator of the shoes were trying too hard to merge multiple styles together into something horrid. Boots are stylish because they are sleek and chic. Even more aggressive boots (like combat boots) have their style. Why would you want open-toe boots when you could go with open/peep-toe shoes or sandals that let you show off your feet much better than what these open-toe monstrosities offer?

I don't agree at all. I would never wear sandals in the fall (not great with tights anyway) but I'll def. wear my pair of peep-toe booties for a while until it gets really cold. Much more prcatical than sandals. And it has nothing of that "I can't decide what I want to wear" feeling because I already have decided that I want to wear those by the time I'm wearing them.
I don't think open toe boots screams 'don't know what to wear' and any one who is shelling out for them is likely not going to wear white athletic socks with them. I really did not like this style of boot when they first came down the runway, and now, like a little sheep after being subjected to loads pictures of those lovely Givenchy booties I now am craving a pair and scanning ebay with high hopes.....
open toe boots are a fresh new direction in footwear. the concept adds an element of fun and modernism and gives those of us that love wearing boots another element to play with. shoes and boots ramp it up and open toe boots are another of course of direction. get creative with it...get jiggy and have fun!

yea they are doing it all the time... but sometimes i dont hate them if they arent 100% identical.

I don't know if they stole that because I have the original pair. I'm not that sure if they made any other colors, but my heel is a chunky one, not a stiletto like the SM copy.
You can see a difference between the SM and the Givenchy's that I have as well as the actual pic from shopbop.
