Outlet Shopping

In seattle: at betty blue's i bought a lot of past season clothing for 50%+.. like dolce and gabbana, valentino..

The best outlet in the US is most likely Sawgrass Mills in South Florida...west of Ft. Lauderdale...I just bought a pair of black Miu Miu's stilletos I had contemplated at Neimans during the last call sale in August and they were down to $110 from $780....But as with any outlet mall..you really need to go often and know your stuff....

Thank you cloud nine for your hong kong outlet info...I have been going to HK for ten years now...used to go there on the weekends when I worked in Japan and have not yet been to Space....or the Joyce Warehouse...will be checking it out when I am there in July...Yipeee!!!!!

I liked this hidden outlet in Toscany:

SPACE
Località Levanella S.S 69
52025 Montevarchi (AR)
Phone : +39.055.91901

(S.S. 69 is the road it's next to..its situated in tinny industrial area..at the end of a road of the S.S 69..it can be tricky to find since they don't flaunt the locality.)

They stocked Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, D&G, Helmut Lang and Jill Sander
Mens and Womens wear, Shoes, Bags and Accessories

I bought
a prada cashmere sweater
a prada cashmere/silk cardigan
a prada belt
a prada wool sweater for my husband

I recall the price of the cashmere sweater being 300 Euros reduced to 60 Euros..so generally the prices where pretty good imo.

Yes there is a Space too here in California with those same brands... Camarillo Outlets, on the way to Palm Springs...

Its so exctiting finding stuff that normally would be way outta the budget. I have made some of my BEST purchases at outlets.

Sorry its actually Cabazon Outlets.

Just last week I went to an Outlet with a friend , I found nice pair of pumas, a nice pair of ballerina flats by Marco Polo, a polo by T.Hilfiger and a skirt for a good price. There were nice items by Hugo Boss , Bally, Strenesse, Jil Sander, Joop etc. It was worthy to go there , a big plus was that it was just 30min away from me

man.. our outlets suck- we had a saks off fifth that has so many good finds, but it closed- now we have polo and that's it besides some other obscure things..

I LOVE Saks Outlet!
I have bought dope stuff there...

That sucks Southerncutie, I feel for you...

you're welcome ^_^
i dont think SPACE is in the states yet, although they have some branches in europe and japan...
i also remember there was a huge luxury secondhand/consignment shop near central if you are interested. i think the name was jade something... but im really not sure.. you should just ask around once you're there..

I used to go to the Camarillo Outlets , out side LA, theres a Barney's and a Off Fith, but I never foudn much, outlets are the best palce to by 'designer' jeans though i think, unless you are looking for a hard to find label.

The best outlet though is Maxfield bleue on Robertson in LA, everything from CDG to Dior at like 50% off, and good good stuff

I agree that outlets are pretty much crap, especially the outlet strip malls.

I've made some good scores in Filene's Basement, both in downtown Boston and Newton. From what I've heard, all other FB's stink.

Nordstrom Loft in downtown Seattle is pretty good, and it's just a few blocks from the flagship Nordie's. My husband is a big fan; he got an Italian-made 100% cashmere jacket there for $100.

I've heard of Betty Blue, and am hoping to check it out this weekend.

There is a Filenes in a suburb of Chicago that is half way decent. I was in there this past weekend and I saw Chloe, Narcisso Rodriguez, Gucci, Prada, Versace, JPG, D&G and a few others. It's definatly a "go every weekend and dig dig dig" kind of a deal.
