!!

The biggest watches I have ever seen are the Panerai Luminor watches, they were designed for the Italian navy officers and are very much a fashion statement at the moment. The diameter is 44 mm! They are mechanical and very expensive. Visit their website. Ciao!

mm well let's say not more than 600$ :flower:

Hmmm, it's hard to say.

Maybe Baume et Mercier might fit that price range on the lower side of their watches, but I'm not sure if they make big ones. Also look at Breitling and Omega. If there is nothing in that price range (and the chances are slim), than I would think hard about spending a lot of money on a watch. Watches are tricky, usually the good ones are really expensive, and the lower priced ones are not worth getting because any $10 quartz watch will show time just as accurately. So it becomes really paying for the name and not the quality, even more so than in fashion. In any case, I think with your budget you can definitely walk into a jewelry store and see what they might have for you. Where in Belgium are you located? I would imagine there are a ton of stores in Antwerpen. I've been there twice, but I only shopped for fashion so I couldn't really say where to look for watches.
Good luck :flower:

If, like Faust, you want a piece of engineering then you'd be hard pushed to get something for $600. If, like me, you want a bracelet that goes *tick* then go for the U-Boat, they seem trendy at the moment and I've seen them for just over £200 (about $400).

Why not? they're just brands I generally like watches from. It's not based on anything but that.

The biggest watch made until now is the Breitling Super Avenger somewhat like 50 mm
