I am getting obsessed with owls, and I don't own a thing with owls on them.

I just recently saw a really cute owl necklace when I was shopping, but I decided not to get it because my college's mascot is an owl, and I felt kind of weird wearing a necklace like that around, and my friend convinced me not to. It seemed kind of tacky. But now I'm regretting not getting it! What do you guys think?

i think theres a bit of an overkill. mawi owl necklaces appeared in several magazines, and since then topshop and h&m have created their own copies

On Anthropologie's site, I queried 'owl' and received more results than I could post in a lifetime, among them a number of unrelated bowls and a pair of flats I like much better than the Keds:

(Also, search eBay and you'll find zillions of listings for owl jewelry from the '60s and '70s, when it apparently was at the equivalent level of Topshop/H&M popularity...)
