Tie-dye Is Everywhere!

I really hate most of C&C's tie dyed tees. I sort of like this one though.

I think the C&C shirts are absolutely dreadful, and not too far from the hippy tie-dye shirts.

I really, really love the examples from Prada and company on the first page of this thread. Very beautiful; it really gives the clothes a lot of depth and texture when done well.

i also am very much into this ombre trend (which is SOOOO different looking than tie dye!!) i was in the prada boutique looking at their new collection and fell in love, and went to another store and bought an ombre sweater in shades of muted green. :woot: but now i have to find something to wear it with!

I know...I was just afraid it might get lost! LOL. I don't mind at all.

It wasn't my sister, it's my friend's sister, but she predicted it, and I was hoping it wouldn't come true, but it seems she was right! I've never been a fan of (traditional, vaguely hippieish) tie-dye, which is sort of why I'm cringing at the idea of this becoming a trend...to me, it's sort of like the LV Murakami...if this gets big and I see it everywhere, I'll get so sick of it. LOL.

C&C already has a shirt out that I hate...the colours are ghastly. :P

I loved the Ombre trend, though...but that's a much more subtle form and it's beautiful...not quite so jarring, especially with the colours used with the ombre trend...

 it makes her look like a pumpkin!

When its cheap its nasty, but Stella, Prada & Givenchy tie-die is fantastic... When I heard about it I wasn't too impressed but then I saw it and I'm hooked...! I really really like it...

I really never liked tie-dye at all, and still don't, but I would give my life to own something from Prada's fall line! :P

Maybe I'm being cynical, but you could make something just like this in a bathtub for free.

Ooohhh ... my all time fave tie-dye was Prada SS'04 of course!!!

And I was over the moon when i saw Chloe Sevigny wearing one of my fave Prada pieces on her guest spot on Will & Grace.

Here's the image of the Top Chloe was wearing!!!!

You're welcome hun.

I love that top.

I love the Prada version! But sadly it often turns out really bad.

Marciano has jumped on the bandwagon. From www.marciano.com...

Ech...they look tacky. I'll take Prada over those anyday. The last one reminds me of a Foley & Corinna top that I loved, but that was Ombre done correctly...but then again, anything that has Paris Hilton modelling for it I don't trust, :P

Does anyone know who makes this tie dye sweatshirt
833.jpg

It has a vertical row of Chinese lettering on the back - and its not Da-Nang - I was thinking maybe 2 B Free - they have some stuff with Chinese lettering but I don't know about tie dye

what if I combine this trend and the rasta trend...

wear red, yellow, green and black tie dye. fantabulous! kill two birds with one stone.
