I said I would not get excited for
Dior, but I cannot help it. Because it is impossible to know what John is thinking/feeling, it's a mystery and that makes me so excited. There are so many things that he could do, but I just wish at least a really good show of
really "inspired" pieces (not specifically by anything cultural or period), but where divine thought + craftmanship is displayed. The last haute couture show was terrible on so many levels! From the beading and embroidery, to the festive melee of parading models running into each other, to the set - it was a show just for to have a
show. John cannot do
that again - or maybe he can. I hope not.
But I feel safe with
Chanel couture as I am rarely, rarely disappointed! I loved the last haute couture show!
And
Tisci I really like in these days! I remember I said that the last
Givenchy couture was
really ugly, but it later grew on me!
