^ You know what's funny is that I have heard so many people say that. Even Barbara Walters pretty much said that on The View yesterday, which shocked me. She called Heather "interesting" and motioned the air quotes when she said it.

That's part of the reason why I wanted Paul and Heather to stay together, cause it would piss Stella off. Frankly Stella has always struck me as a snotty cow (which would explain why she and Gywneth get along so well) who was mad her father was getting remarried.

Heather hasn't had an easy life, unlike Stella who grew up in privilege. Plus she seems to have a lot of health problems related to the loss of her leg. I wouldn't say I'm a fan of Heather's but she seems to have a good sense of humor about herself and her amputee status, she does a lot of charity work and I imagine she put up with a lot of BS from Stella and the other kids.

Heather offered to sign a pre-nup, Paul said no so it's his loss. Bit of a moot point as they aren't legally binding in UK courts, the courts will award her what they see fit. Even if they award Heather a few hundred million, Paul isn't going to be on the poverty line in his lifetime. I imagine they'll be a few hundred mil left for Stella in his will.

I read yesterday the final bill for Maccers may be £200million. But then there was another article saying that she may have to settle for *only* £100million. Pocket change!

That is beside the point. Paul did earn that money with his own talent and work. She didn't. Regardless of how huge the amount of money he possesses is, she did nothing to deserve a pound of it (beside child care, of course).
Now I am not passing any kind of judgement on her or this case. I don't know yet if she is a golddigger or not . Maybe she is honest, who knows.
I'll just wait and see.

I love how people tear strips off Heather for marrying Paul just for his money cause their is no other reason for why she married him. Yet no one thinks Paul shouldn't be marrying a woman half his age. Can you honestly see Paul with a 60 something yr old woman? Hell if he and Heather divorce and he meets another woman, I'll take bets now that she's nowhere close to his own age. Paul can marry any woman he wants but seriously the accusation can be made that he's only interested in Heather because of her looks, the fact that she's so much younger etc.

Canuckcutie, I agree with you 100%. The only one I really feel hurt for in this situation is 2-year old Beatrice, who no one seems to even think about.

Lena, I found your comments a bit harsh. From what has been gathered, it appears that he left her, not the other way around. And he did so, right after she had major surgery, leaving her not only in physical pain but in mental anguish as well, alone and villified by practically the whole world. Now he seems to be "best buddies" again with his two daughters who snubbed and insulted him during their entire marriage.
