anyone know where to get the Lanvin pearls? or if they are available?
i think since they have become very popular...they might be on waitlist, maybe check ebay?

I just got my first string of real pearls for my graduation present. They're beautiful.

i love the Chanel pearl/chain types.

pearls make people look old
sometimes on rare occasions they can b pulled off ... but generally they make me think of grans... and classicism.... *yawn*

 Pearls are awesome....they are classy and can be for formal occassions but also I use them for casual wear too.

right now I'm dying to get a really really long strand of pearls so I can loop it a couple of times around or do the knot thing with em, hard to explain but its so cute...

my god... pearls can really be trendy and sexxy too! not just granny or classy!

i wear them all the time and I dont think I've ever really looked like a granny. I mean with some ripped jeans, a pair of high stilettos in a punchy color, a fun top and about a 6 inch wide cuff of pearls... definitly not granny or classic at all.

its all about what you pair them with... A black boatneck dress and a 16 in strand of pearls and black pumps is classy...

I love pearls!!! Last summer I went to Hawaii (the Big Island) and people were selling these beautiful, relatively inexpensive pearls EVERYWHERE. We're going again this summer and I plan to stock up. I love pink pearls the best.

peals are very pretty and feminine in a sexy yet classy way
love them.

Pearls are my ultimate favorite accessory! I've got so much pearl jewelry, and my mom has more, so I borrow hers since hers are all nice and real. haha.

Love those, :woot: I have been looking for someone in the rigth size to i could use them as a bracelet.

I like pearls but not in too large portions, and you have to wear something new and chic so i dosen't get too classic and conservative.

I second that.

i like black pearls better than regular ones...

but they are so much more expensive...

Pearls are like an epitome of class and elegance. They look really nice with any bridal dress.

i hate faux pearls!!! plastic or glass!!! they're hideous...no matter what some mags say, you can always tell a fake from real ones. :yuk:

so ill share my fab find of real pearl pieces and some look simple yet gorgeous i thought.
www.ilovemybubu.com -- the puerto prinsesa's stone works with all my outfits!!!

I was told that pink-toned pearls where primarily sold to Europe while creme-toned pearls went to the Asian markeds..and the reason..I was told was, that they suited the respective dominant skintones of those geographics.
I think that's such bullsh*t (pardon my french) and it really annoys me....cos I'd rather have creme-toned pearls than pink-toned ones.

Anyways, I  pearls and their versatility..only pearl look I  is the pearl-decorated pornmodel.

From Chanel's newest line of accessories. :crush:
"The little pearl bag? So Chanel- elegant and with wit."

The shoes are by Patricia Neel.
