Has anyone tried Sarah Jessica Parker's perfume "lovely" yet??? i really want to know what its like because my family are going away and can get it duty free and i cant get out anywhere to smell it!!!

I actually smelled it a few weeks ago, and I was completely disapointed. It just had too much of something in it for me to be willing to wear. I really had been excited about it too, of all celebrities Sarah Jessica is one of my old favorites.

i have, it´s sweet, i think a bit flowery and it is quite unique, is not like you smell it and inmediatelly remember other fragrances, its quite original, the sort of fragrance that you still can scent after hours of beign aplied but in a subtle way, one of 2005 best releases.

I tried Kenzo Flower Oriental on Tuesday and at first I didn't like it at all, much too much wood, but after like 15 to 30 minutes it smelled gorgeous! Really warm and a bit elegant.

How do I use the Venexx Perfume Watch?
A soft turn of the bezel downward and the sprayer appears. Now you can spray the perfume by pushing the atomizer.

How can I refill the Venexx Perfume Watch?
Using a 10 cent coin, the tank on the back of the watch case can be opened. Place the funnel or pipette into the watch case and refill the perfume tank with the perfume of your choice.

How do I clean the perfume tank?
Before filling a different perfume into the Venexx Perfume Watch the tank should be cleaned thoroughly, so that the fragrances do not mix together. For cleaning the watch it is best to use alcohol, available in every specialist shop. Fill the perfume tank with alcohol, then spray till the alcohol is out of the tank. Now the tank, the integrated perfume-pump and the atomizer are clean and you can refill the perfume tank as described above.

some recent perfume news:

tom ford is doing another fragrance for estee lauder due out later this year. it's going to be a full tom fragrance, not just tom remixing an old lauder scent. black iris or something about a flower (i cant quite recall).

dsquared just signed a contract to release a fragrance in the near future (didn't state if it was mens or ladies, but i'm suspecting it's mens as that's where they got their start as far as clothing goes).

marc jacobs is launching a trio of splash fragrances soon (i believe they are unisex).

ysl is launching "cinema festival d'ete", a summer version of cinema due out soon. (i think the name is rediculous)

la prarie has silver rain mist due out soon as well. it's a fragrance mist with a light shimmer for the body.

betsy johnson is launching her own fragrance this fall. no other details yet.

comme des garcons is launching two fragrances in relation to their guerilla store concept. once again, no other details as far as i know.

Alexander McQueen will launch MyQueen this fall:

The fragrance has been developed around four, instead of three olfactory levels, signed Anne Flipo and Dominique Ropion of IFF. Suave notes of sweet almond and violet open the scent, which settle into an accord of orange flower absolute, white musk, heliotrope and white flowers. This leads to notes of patchouli, cedar and vetiver ending on iris and vanilla accords.

i cant wait for it .. i'm a guy but i love his kingdom perfume that i got all the editions and sizes and sad to say in AuS they have stop selling his perfume ... i use the kingdom often enough when i attend some big time functions ..

My Queen smells weird, It doesn't smell at all.

I have Flowerbomb, sitting on my drawer, its good, sweet, but you get tired of it quickly.

The Tom Ford fragrance for Estee Lauder, is not a new one, its Youth Dew, reinvented, it smells like sh!t.

Lately I've been wearing Bulgari Black, and I altern it with Dior Homme Eau Noire and Sweet Sun for the summer.

i read that Dior will launch a new perfume next year and are on the search of a star face to promote it (as j´adore with Charlize), they still haven´t found one but they just dismissed julia roberts because according to them she is not famous enaugh... i recently smelled miss dior cherie and i felt totally in love with it, after trying dior homme i was so afraid miss dior cherie would have smell powdery and outdated as the new male one but is swett and pleasant, i hope that although they will make a huge perfume launch (a la pure poison) next year they will still have news from their perfume section comming this one.

i haven´t tried 212 sexy but the original one is not for me at all, gives me a headache, i do own 212 for men and that one is much better and unique (as 212 for women too), but when it comes to perfumes is always recomendable to try, what might give me a headache can be the perfume of your dreams and vice versa.

Dior Homme isn't bad... Eau Noire is better, in my opinion.

However, Miss Dior Cherie is far too sweet and smells like strawberry syrup. It has no resemblance really to the original Miss Dior, and I kinda perceive it as marketed for the teen-market along with Britney Spear's Fantasy and whatnot. It smells kinda similar to Paco Rabanne's Black XS (which is marketed towards men. heh)
Packaging is lovely though.

As for other "new" perfume news. um. Terre d'Hermes smells like an old guy. Probably a classic if you're 40+.. heh.

I really like Un Jardin Sur Le Nil... But that's not new really.
