We have a realtor here who apparently does pretty well, and I saw a group shot of her & all her people (when I was in a waiting room yesterday desperate for reading material), all coordinated in black & white, and she was wearing white tights She is older than dirt (but has had work done of course), has these stumpy little legs, her skirt was hitting in the wrong place, and those white tights were just so wrong

New thing I have been doing is rolling my jeans up over the top of chunky boots not delicate ones that looks bad. I love how it looks.

OK, so I've been searching for a key look to wear, atleast for my bottom half

I tend to wear black skinnies with zippers or boot-cut-ish jeans.. Yes I'm pretty boring..

But pairing them with a pair of comfortable all-black velcro pumas I just bought has become a little bland. I'd love to wear my Frye engineer boots more often, but they're brown and just don't fit with the blacks/greys/plums as much during the fall.

Any tips on wearing the Frye's, or what my next shoe purchase should be? I'm dying to find the perfect pair of black wedge ankle boots.

I need some navy into my wardrobe... why is it so hard to find?

I bought a black dress for spring but I am not sure whether I should keep it as it's black, it has pockets which I love.. and a great loose sexy shape.

But I think I would then need a pair of tan sandals.. to make it more summery..

I am starting early this season, as I find summer dressing so hard..

So I was doing laundry today and I split my laundry in to black and colors and the colors pile was less than a 1/4 of the size of the black and the only whites were underwear and socks. Its was really funny

that always happens to me. i have to do a tiny white load (underwear and my v-neck t-shirts), and the rest is colors.

An awful lot of my recent purchases are navy-sweaters,cardigans and a tee shirt dress-and I far prefer it to black. Fight the force when it comes to black!!

Perhaps I should lower my standards a bit.
