today i wore pants with no pockets and a big cardigan instead of a coat-
also with no pockets...
damn if i didn't know what to do with my hands...
...
it made me really self conscious and aware of the fact that i really do have a major thing for pockets...
...
also wanted to try on a pair of inexpensive little motorcycle ankle boots that i saw in a window (like the ones i have been looking for)
but they were all sold out of my size...
...
boo!
oh well- i guess that saved me some money...
at least until i find them somewhere else...

I'm just going to have to train myself to look for skirts and maybe some cute easy dresses when i'm out shopping... i have so much trouble with them.. usually they're too formal, or i hate the material, or i don't like where they sit on my waist/hips.. and I never quite know which tops to pair with them. it's like a whole new world...

luckily it's working again
I'm too cheap to get them tailored
But since I'm not much of a sweater person, are there any cozy alternatives you all can think of?
The Gap makes great thin sweaters. I have a lovely coral turtleneck from there that's great for outdoors (if it ain't too cold).
