I had heard of phoenix before this thread (I think due to Lo and Astrid ) but had never been persuaded to d/l their stuff til now and LOVE IT! I can't get all their songs because kazaa lite sucks but right now I adore run, run, run (but the launch version is better IMO) and love for granted. Lo, do you have them on your computer? If so want to come on msn and share with me?!

i will put some on my PC tonite just for you meg cool chick like you should definitly be there fan......there coming back soon...i think in a month or two...if you are free to visit nyc i may be there for the show.come along B)

Softgrey,you can hear Victim of the Crime on the Dior Homme site (under soundtrack). But it's kinda repetitive and doesn't give you the full extent of Phoenix's sound. Try the band's or the label's website.

It was Lost In Translation that got me into this band, I've never heard their other songs before, but seeing Bill Murray dance to Too Young was like a sign that this band was excellent.

I discovered them a few years ago based on their track on Erlend Øye's DJ Kicks mix. Some of my favorite tracks are on United, but I end up listening to the second album straight through more frequently. I still need to queue up the new album. I have high hopes.
