they can be fun, but i won't wear or buy too much of it... i feel like i look like a child wearing bright plastic jewlery, i look way too young as it is. it does depend on the particular piece.

i prefer the more elegant plastic looking bangles with engraved roses n stuff on them. saw some at target that i had to run away from lol

I like some of the very basic plastic accessories - can look very mod and hip when used SPARINGLY.

However, I agree that while plastic accessories can look great with the right outfit, with the wrong outfit they look very very cheap.
