The American version IS trashy! I swear, here in America women are represented in so many unclassy, untasteful ways... and some of it is not our fault, yet some of it is... reminds me of the STUPID reality shows we have here. Ugh.

For most, given their lack of talent, it's what allows them to hold on to the celebrity part.

Of course all the actresses who appeared in France Playboy have been nude in multiple movies so it probably means nothing to them.

Well a lot of actresses get naked in movies (especially french movies..) because they play people.. and people are sometimes naked.. they don't wear clothes when they shower, have sex, etc..

I think if its not objectifying its really no big deal. I'd rather see this than a clothed "hottie of the week" in maxim/FHM/Stuff etc..
