'plus' size streetstyle.

Ack, I've totally abandoned this thread! I tend to go on crazy posting sprees in one topic and then all of asudden stop

I'll try and post more pics soon! :)

Marjorie G. Raein (the blonde in the tunic and silver sandals) is probably one of the few "socials" who could be called plus-size. I like the tunic look. In a Vogue "shape issue" profile on her a couple of years ago, she wasn't specific, but she said she hadn't been smaller than a 12 as an adult. It seems that she may be a "friend of the house" and get clothing that her favorite designers don't offer to the masses. :innocent:

New Look in England are really catering for plus sizes now , aside from them I can't really think of any plus size ranges that are trend led or based which must be frustrating for anyone who is a plus size. I find it hard enough buying clothes to fit me properly and I'm a 12/10.

this thread needs to come back. its so hard to find pictures though. the street style people just seem to favor skinnier people

anyway, here are a couple from facehunter

^I can't see the pictures :(

But you're right, this thread needs a comeback, I'll see if I can find any pictures!

Again, you can't really say it's 'plussize' but I guess these are ok. I think they all look lovely, but I really don't like the shoes.

^ i agree with kanita, don't like the shoes either excluding the last pic

^^ I really like the first outfit! You would think that the boxy shapes would be unflattering, but it actually works. Thanks for posting :)

I despise just about anything related to scene, but Misshapes is one of the few sites that posts pictures of people who wear above a size four, so here we go

shes daring but its still flattering

and can we post men in this thread too?

pandahead.blogspot.com has a lot of fuller figures. again, the term "plus size" is talken a bit looser

<-- love that
<-- not a flattering picture but i think it is a bold choice and i love the black, white and red combination
this is cute

Those Swedes have such fabulous style! Stockholm Street Style is my favorite street style site.

kanita, great photos in post 153!

the girl in the first pic (white top, black skirt, black boots) looks sweet, artsy and sharp all at once, and i love the texture of the sweater combined with trench and skinny jeans in the fifth pic!
