Prada F/W 2011.12 : Antonia, Dorte, Frida, Julia, Kelly & Ondria by Steven Meisel

While I agree the girls may look a bit bored/tired in the new shot, I love it nonetheless. That's just the way I wanted it to be.

This shot isn't as strong as the other two. I don't like all the fug colours in it, makes it look cheap. Kelly is killing it again, yet another example of why it should have been only girl.

The third girl in the new image should be Julia Zimmer at Marilyn.

Julia Zimmer on the right.

(Marilyn & Ford domination!)

ETA: yaars beat me to it.

I guessed this was another girl, didn't look like Ondria to me. Congratulation to Julia too, two Germans in this campaign.

So there are five of them, I knew the new girl didn't look too familiar. It's such a surprise to see four real newcomers scoring the campaign, fantastic choice.

I'm loving the new shot, looks even better in bigger size. The mix of colours is delicious.

Antonia honestly should have been cut from this... she isn't working for me at all
the bigger shot is showing me that the new girl may have potential

I don't know,I'm not feeling ANY of the pictures
Love the styling though, they have picked the most interesting pieces from the collection!

Hahaha, what a mess. This is getting worse and worse. This is what they end up with after recasting more than once?

Love the new shoot, such rich colors. But i hope Frida gets more shoots.

Frida does NOT look good here. It would have been so much better without her. Kirsi would have been the best choice in my book.
Frida is to comercial and has nothing special at all. Only long legs.

A sensuous playroom is the setting for the new Prada womenswear campaign, shot by Steven Meisel. It reveals a new laid back approach to elegance in a relaxed atmosphere laced with sophisticated fashion knowing.

Ivory-faced girls recline on rich velvet couches, their pale skin standing out against a sumptuous mosaic of colour, texture and smooth light. The harlequin floor, rich velvet furnishings and a strip of chrome beneath reflect the intricate mix of colors in this otherworldly palette.

This campaign exemplifies an anything goes attitude to fashion maximalism, but is delivered with a unique sense of grace and casualness, where cherry-red heels, coral kid gloves, and the orange glint of a mermaid scale dress blend with natural ease and precision.

Innocence meets refinement in this timeless tableau. The delicate sensuality expressed by the fresh-faced models is at odds with the sophisticated fashion on display: trompe l’oeil boots in grownup velvet masquerade as girlish knee-highs, oversized coquettish lapels are paneled in fur and python bags are cradled like cute teddy bears. It’s a dressing room of contemporary desire disguised as a playroom of childhood dreams.

At its centre the models emit a youthful luminosity and nonchalant sophistication, creatively capturing the subtle duality at the heart of this new collection.

I always enjoy Prada's poetic descriptions, they're so suggestive that I keep nodding Yes, indeed every second line.

I can't believe how awful are these models!
If they are models, I think Natasha or Isabeli are putting a gun on their heads.

I love the new shot. Gorgeous colours.

I wish they still did animation videos for their collections S/S 2008 "Trembled Blossoms" was my favorite
