First of all: MOHAIR!

I guess it's very difficult to do something really focused when you're picking so much elements from a lot of your past collections...
The corduroy part left from the Prefall referenced what she did for her FW93 collection.
Then, we have the mohair (!) ensemble from FW07,some touches of the current SS collection, the faces from SS14 on the fabrics of SS05, the coats from FW14, the "Great Gasby" inspired part from Prefall 09...etc.
I don't hate it. It's just over-styled. I see some very covetable pieces like the dress on Lineisy, the ensemble on Vittoria and the girl right after her, the dress on Amanda, the berets and the buckled pumps/sandals.
The over-the-knee boots feels very dated...very 2005. The inclusion of the gowns is really fresh for Prada.
The whole collection looks very Prada but also kind of ridiculous. When looking at it, i know that 90% of this will not be produced and it's something that has always been a frustration with Prada.
And Seriously, NO WOMAN ON EARTH WOULD WANT TO WEAR A MOHAIR ENSEMBLE OR DRESS!!!
I loved it. Is it the first time she has sent gowns on the runway ? I can't remember !
On the runway, it's the first time since 1998. She did some "real eveningwear" in her Resort/prefall 09 but she has always been more about midi length than long gowns... So this is really fresh from her.
And it's kinda well executed considering how disastreous Prada Redcarpets are.
