Project Runway Season 2

I am rooting for Dan Vosovic. Mostly just because he is close friends with a very close friend of mine. He is so chaming and sweet and adorable in real life. And he's a dancer/choerographer! How could you not love him?

This is my friend Anna modeling in his portfolio:

i'm so glad nick won tonight!! good for him!
did anyone else notice that santino thought he won when they said they loved his work? hahaha wow. ego. but i'm not gonna lie--his outfit for barbie was also amazing.

Satino's dress was gorgeous! I also liked Nick, Chloe, Emmit and Diana's as well.

I'm really glad Nick won because his dress was amazing. The colors were dead on and the cut was completely barbie.

I really DONT like Santino. So many people are prasing his work. And I think that's why he is so egotistical. Plus, he has done the pleat/ruffle thing in 2 challenges, for heaven's sake CHANGE IT UP A BIT. He does great work but his ego is going to get him in some trouble. No one would want to work with him if he is going to be a man diva.

Man, I laughed out loud when Santino thought he won it and then the look on his face when they straight up gave it to Nick... classic.

Although Nick's was nice, and easy to miniaturize for mass production. Some of the others forgot to take that into account.

The bald dude's (who cried last episode like a little girl) design was disgusting.

I am rooting for Nick to win, although he definitely has a semi-unfair advantage. Being in design, and being a TEACHER of design for a number of years, he's definitely got a leg up. Last season showed that you require at least a bit of training to make it into the finals.

What is the deal with Santino? He grew up in a house with 3000 barbie dolls?! Did anyone else find that odd and borderline disturbing? Hello, didn't he have any friends, a pet turtle, a chia pet like normal children?

I have a tendency to enjoy watching irratating characters on reality shows (read: Richard Hatch, Survivor 1; Ruthie, Real World Hawaii; Flava Flav, Sureal Life 3). These types of characters cause drama, controversy, and make for good Television. However, Santino's lack of humility & cockiness in combination with his atrocious comb over is unbearable. I would hate to deal with people like that in a "professional" setting, and I suppose that's why I am not in fashion. (also, gay p*rn pays much, much, much better).

I think the detail on his dress was quite nice, but nothing that hasnt been done before, PUH-LEEZE, that faded, tiedyeish coloring was copied left and right by every designer and their mothers like 2 years ago...

If Santino had a mustache, I would probably still want to keep him on, because, quite frankly, people with mustaches rock. however, his comb over is appalling, and I have had enough.

2 cents,
sleazie :ninja:

I loved Nick's design last night. But I also thought that it was quite funny when they called Santino's name and he thought he won and he was so surprised when he didn't..It was priceless for me..

Also, I'm not sure if this is the correct term for Daniel's designs..But am I the only one that has noticed that all he designs are these dresses with "color blocking??"..I was really liking him at first but now I'm bored with him.

pinksatin, dan's designs are neat as well, literally. all the assymetrical lines on the bodice of his designs can be appreciated. i'm still going to root for my underdog diana though :/ bummer that she's so quiet; i wish she'd say more or do something obnoxious so the camera will want to capture her more!

and last nights win, the green stripe dress, it was good for a teen barbie doll and i guess that's why he won. i have to admit, i still have this love for santino's dumb designs... i loved the purple hues and the cut. i would so rock that tonight!!! it was pretty funny though when he lost, he's such a cry baby. hello you lost, cry me a river santino, lol.

Haha I'm going to echo everyone else when I say Santino's head is "thiiiiiiiiis big!" Or just Nick. hehehe. I CAN'T STAND people with egos, but Santino is something else. I'm almost sad that he's genuinely talented.

Go Diana!! She seems TOTALLy like the kids from my high school (a science and math high school), except cooler cos she knows a thing or two about style. Yay for overlooked Asian coolios!

And Daniel Franco, what a cutie. He always looks like he's about to sh&t a brick.

God, I love this show.

I agree on the fact that Santino is VERRRY egotisticla. He ASSUMED he won the barbie project. The look on his face was classic. I guess he has SOME reason to be egotistical. His work IS very good. But, good lord, no one is going to want to work with him with an attitude like that. I hope he gets in check.

What's the woman's name that was having trouble sewing last night? Anyway, I thought she should've been booted! She has to have someone hold her hand through everything!!

i LOVE santino and think his ego is something you need in this industry, because i know from experience in the handbag design world its a cutthroat mean lil' business! i think towards the end its gonna be between him and nick...and what to say about mr. franco? man...now he's not the prodigy, but taking up the monk attitude, and all his "thank you's" sound so frickin' contrived, i just want to kick him in the shin so he'll stop stepping back every five seconds to revel in his basic tailoring.

I think Santino has it he knows it and he expects a lot out of himself and the competition isnt between him and other people just him and himself.

I loved Nicks dress from the second he bought the fabric, I just knew his was going to be the best.

Santino facially reminds me of Nicolas Cage, anyone else?

I agree.

Though his pouty face at the news that he did not win made me roll my eyes, I still think he has an amazing talent. And if I were a judge, he'd win everytime, because I loved his barbie outfit.

But Nick won, and he was second best, IMO.

Good thing Santino didn't win. Could you picture his face on the outside of a Barbie doll box?
