Project Runway Season 2

hi all....i am a fan of pr who r from H.K.,a fashion student
anyway....after reading the interview of tim gunn
i am so impressive wut he said about Zulema that he's perfectly happy to see her go ,really laughed my *** off!..hahah
and i also dont expect that he is homosexual and singal.how shocked it is!

besides, for the final collection i personally think that kara collection is .........
not really good AT ALL expect the final piece ,and it's also very similar what she did be4......(boring!)
for santino, his work is much more glamaous and "wearable"than i thought be4.i think he did terribly well.i like the whole collection colour ...very romantic and soft!
for me the winner is between santino and chloe ,wut do u guys think?

i think santino will benefit the most from the banana internship because he has the creativity but his clothes are so unrefined, unpolished. also, i think he would bring a different branding/ style to banana. so, i think it would be a good marriage, if he won. i'm still undecided...

esile, the prize isn't an internship at BR but a mentorship. So I don't think the winner works at BR at all.

Is that you in the middle? Also, I thought they didn't announce the winner at the show? I thought they waited until they were back at Parson's?
Eliza, you're right they didn't announce a winner at the show. I'm confused by edgy models unless someone told him the winner backstage.

hmmm, I want Chloe to win, her collection was very beautiful, the BEST.
Santino's was not bad but the colors were so washed out and the designs were a little too contrived. although Bravo would probably give him the win because he creates drama.
Daniel really let me down, everything was so PLAIN.

in terms of Banana Republic designs, Chloe is the perfect fit.

fullfrontal- a mentorship... is not the same as an internship? sorry, i thought the winner would be working at banana? please, clarify. thanks.

From what Jay slipped it's more about how to get cheap fabrics in China.

Santino does have amazing desigsn but his attitude is a little much.
I love danial for some reason, some of his designs are really good.
And chloe...hers are okay.
Final tomorrow.

I'm trying to figure out which season is on our screens over here... In the first episode they make dresses out of stuff from the grocery store?

I loved Kara's Collection - it was like eye candy. Daniel's was straightforward and simple, but it was so luxe in its simplicity. To me, it was all about lines - and the materials seemed so delicious to me. It was, in my opinion, the most wearable collection.

And Chloe, I can't even get into how horrible I thought her collection was. Of course, I haven't been a fan of hers through the show anyway. Everything she designed in the show I felt like I'd already seen before - and none of it was something I'd wear. I don't know if it was because her model had an unfortunate figure, but I also felt that Chloe's stuff looked awful on the model.

As for her runway show, her use of those stiff satins and silks was appalling. I hated all the visible, cheap seaming she did on those dresses, too. And, her floral fabrics were very mumsy.

Santino - Its so funny, but other than the leather jacket, I can't remember what he designed. Bad sign.

One of my favorite lines last episode was when they found out they had to design one more outfit for their collection, and Santino said something about his collection already being so good that he could just slap some pasties and a maxi pad on his model and send her down the runway. HAHAHA!:woot:

I really can't wait until tomorrow night for this final episode.:D

i honesly think that they were all
playing it safe this year.

i just saw the marathon of last year's
project runway & kara saun, jay &
wendy were all flashy & stuff.

& santino, daniel & chloe seem so
tamed compared to them. i was
expecting santino to at least be
a lot more flashy than that! hmm.

i think chloe didn't win. She expanded her boutique here in Houston (renovations were completed just this past weekend)....

I met Daniel V and Nick this sunday they were hanging out the same place I was. Pretty nice guys ;)

kyle_yeung, I was also shocked to learn the Tim Gunn is an admited homosexual. He gave no clues during the show! He is very atractive and masculine, like a father. I wonder if the contestants during project runway knew and also if the administrators, faculty, and students at Parsons knew of his homosexuality before the interview came out.

I really like chloe's design and Santino's design is great....
but Daniel is really safe this time... his collection is stunning...
It's really hrad to choose one of them...

Who can PM me who won ?~haha
