I loved how in the last episode, Nick was like, "Santino is known to use a couple trims, and then some...."
I hope his overzealous use of ruffles, braiding and trim, trim, TRIM! will get him booted soon.

well I think for sure Santino's in the top 3. but it's not forsure he won the runway finale because the show's during fashion week in February.

Yep, I THINK Santino is in the top 3, but ya never know.

3 of these 4 (Santino, Nick, Daniel V, and Chloe) will be at the top. Everyone else is going to be booted.

My prediction is Nick will DEF. be in the top 3, maybe even win, but the rest is just too much of a sure thing to me...I could be totally off the mark.

Ok i watched last night episode and was devastated by the cut that was made.. Emmet was eliminated and I was thinking it was Santinos time to go. Even Heidi sais she is ready to give him the Auf Weidesin...but didnt do it. The comment made was that Emmet used fabrics that were designed already and Santino made the design himself. Santinos design was just very disliking as to Emmet's had a better chance of being in the ice.Many people that are gone should have stayed and a few of theones still there need to go. I was hoping Nina Garcia would be a judge yesterday night due to the fact she gives a honest opinion. Here are the garments that were made for Sasha Cohen although I dont know when she'll wear it.Here ya go
Zulemas design.....quite simple but manage to be the best as Sashas choice

Andraes.....fair in my opinion,,,something different which is good.

Chloe's design... i felt was the best and was new and still will look great on the ice.

Daniel V.......was expecting something more nice but it works for me..is sexy and just good , like the fact that he chose a color harldy seen on the ice.

Emmet...sad he left especially because he was a student form Parson's...I saw it pretty kool but the judges had a different view.

Kara's design....not too flatering .seems like a rodeo dress but she is still in...lets see what goes on the next episode.

Nick's design..a little simple ..the colors dont have an instant clik together but looks good and fair.

Santinos design...by the looks of it it looks like a "turkey running from the indians" "very thanksgiving", told by Michael Kors. Dont know if he was trying to get back at Santino but I doubt Santino would have been defensive in front of Sasha. Just not amusing to me....too overly design.

I love Nick but liked his dress the least...which is sad because I am rooting for him to win.

I thought Emmet's was the best, although they were right about the skirt. But that neckline is stunning. I also really enjoyed the sprial patterned material of Zulema's, it was fresh and exciting. But I didnt care much for the exposed belly, and again, it does not fit her model very well.

I liked Chloe's the best. I thought the color and style of the dress were unusual for skating, yet wearable. I bet it would look amazing on the ice. It had movement and looked very couture.

I felt so badly for Emmett. To lose in that awful pink poly bodysuit was just cruel and he was such a good sport about it.

I thought Daniel V (who I normally like) scored a big fat goose egg. That was hideous. Zulema's I thought paled next to Chloe's design. It didn't fit properly.

I do not understand why they are keeping Santino other than the fact he makes for good TV. His designs have been gawd-awful in the past 2 challanges and he clearly only thinks of himself when he designs. He can't grasp focusing on the client/woman. It is very frustrating. He should have been axed last night, not Emmett. IMOB)

There seems to be something deliberate going on with the forms and the models, perhaps since Em ran into the Zulema crisis with his dress not being long enough in the front (thus Anne's Rooty Tootie Fresh and Fruity comment) and buckling in the back. Zulema's design doesn't go well with her model, which is kind of a shame since her model's body is the most realistic out of all up there.

Santino needs to go, his designs have been plain ugly and he doesn't design for the task, he just pulls some ridiculous "concept" out of left field. It's sick he will probably make the top three because the producers get the final word on who goes. The fact that Santino didn't get the boot proves this isn't about fashion, it's about making "good" tv.

I didn't think ANY of the designs were that great, Chloe's design was ill-fitting and shapeless, Zulema's had a weird boob shape, Daniel's had a weird distracting one satin boob thing, Nick's looked like he put it together from scraps off the floor, Kara's was ugghh... i think her's was worse than Emmett's.

I think Andrae's was the best, but black was the wrong color IMO...

But mannn, figure skating outfits are just so . Look what Sasha was wearing on the ice when they met her, it looked like the outfit i wore in a ballet recital when i was 5.

^ You know,I agree totally. What a lame challange really. Skating outifts have always been . I have no idea what the producers were thinking. Then again, maybe Banana Republic is going into that market. Did anyone notice any knock-offs on thier site? Ha, ha.

based on my other comments in this thread, i really have never been a big santino supporter for anything but drama, but its gettingo ut of hand. they shouldnt keep him. personally, i like emmets as one of the best (i also liked kara's, chloe's, and zulema's). sure it was boring, but whatever, its skating. i think that if she wore chloe's that it would distract from the skating. it was beautiful, but too interesting
