Raf Simons Mens F/W 06.07 Paris

gotta love those jackets and coats! they look very nice in black also. i really like the texturing of the materials, it gives an industrial feel, very strong. and as always the shape and form, raf is the best!

joining the chorus ^_^ I love that double coat, that's genius.

Every piece of knitwear looks SO incredible. As for the rest...I don't care much for it, though some of the coats/jackets are impressive.

I love the knitwear in this collection, it feels more refined than last winter's knitwear  The tailored coats also seem very nice. Solid collection overall.

thank you for ur posted photoes, beetlejuice. I am waiting for these photoes!! Finally, i could see these!! This colloection is reli great! i love the collection!
Waiting for Hedi Slimane...how the new Dior Homme collection is??

I love how subtle is most of the stuff!

Thumbs up

PS Can someone explain what's with the black?. ATTENTION DESIGNERS: I DONT DO BLACK!

raf is becoming a king, truly a master collection, innovation, clean, all tied up together, fabrics, cut, his own ideas from before refined, amazing detailing, new shapes, GOD this is really amazing.

 Chapeau Ms. Simons

Yep...I like how Simons did his thing for the Sander audience then expanded on that vocabulary for his own collection, taking the label in a more mature direction, but sort of like meeting halfway between his own youth sensibility and the maturity of Jil Sander's collection. Simons and Yamamoto were the two I was banking on for this week, I don't really see it getting better than this for the rest of the week. I got my fingers crossed for Dior, but that's about it.

This is indeed a very solid and mature collection, it is as equally wearable and commercial as it is avant garde. Definitely one of the strongest shows that Raf has produced so far, Bravo!

Very well put, Sayan and FTB. I completely agree about this collection being somewhat of an extension of his Sander collection, or "along the same lines"

Raf

the knitwear is absolutely fantastic..just...ack! if i had the money i'd buy the store out of those textured pieces (but in black, not ivory)....

...and this is a surprise aftr his last collection ( a bit weird, imo)...

..all the patent leathers, and lots of black;).....very sophisticated collection

i'd buy it

I like the coat on Boy:-) I also like the "bared threads" around the neck. It's very refined collection indeed, as you said. It's perfecto:-)

But I must say I miss sth, maybe an element of surprise. It's all look so technological, so "cold":-P

Thanks for the pictures:-)
