i've tried clinique, shu uemura, shiseido, lancome & l'oreal. wanna try something new!

Sisley products are great for general baseline care, as is the SK-II line

I don't think where you're from that matters, it's more to do with the kind of skin you have, like combination/dry/ oily ?

whats a good foundation thats light and noncakey and will even out skin tone a little?

i use laura mercier tinted moisturizer in nude. it's definitely light/not much coverage but evens out the face. i believe this is their lightest foundation

as for skincare: i'm currently trying the cle de peau line. so far so good!

milkbar - What kind of skincare products are you looking for? What exactly do you want? I can't really recommend anything unless I know what type of products you are looking for (e.g. face wash, face mask, moisturiser) and what you are trying to do with them (e.g. calm down acne, help lower levels of oiliness on your skin, combat dryness).

Race does matter because in the West the majority of products are made specifically for white people and so certain products can actually mess up non-white people's skin. For example, if a Middle Eastern girl gets acne and tries an anti-acne product that is popular in the West it can actually make her acne worse because her skin is so different from white people's that it doesn't react the same way.
