I just colored my hair dark burgundy from the Garnier brand. I had to get rid of my black dye with Color Fix and then colored it red. It turned out pretty good!

It's funny, because red always fades quickly at first, but then it's the hardest color to get rid of! I still have red undertones though I got my blonde/brown hair dyed cooler
I've heard that this has something to do with the actual dye molecules being a different size than other colours.My sister was trying to explain it to me but she was talking so fast ha ha.
I've been trying to get to a bold copper shade too, something like yours Mindbear. I had a darker crimson red and for some reason the copper dyes keep going more of a rust colour, even though I had the colour stripped out. So frustrating.
