sylph, I am also very pale with pink undertones and I have a true auburn color. I know you weren't looking for a reddish brown, but to be honest, that is going to be one of the most natural looking colors on you unless you have very light brows and/or orange-ish freckles. I often get compliments on my color when I get my hair cut because it's a unique-ly occuring color and I think the subtlety of it will make your color look more natural and authentic since it will work well with your skin tone. Sorry, probably not much help
i used to keep all my magazines till it became such a huge collection it was like a fire hazard so i ripped all my zines up but i kept the tearouts of that Elle cover and the editorial. im still crazy about that red but ive done it before. i think once is enough for me
I'm a former blonde. I dyed my hair red last August and have no plans on giving it up. It's a battle to maintain but totally worth it. I've tried various shades but the red copper on the upper right is my favorite.
I showed my hair lady this picture of Ashlee Simpson and she nailed it.
I'm totally in love with all the redheads. I'm becoming one of them in a few days because of being a bit bored of blonde hair for my whole life and need a change. I hope it'll work out, chose a colour 'Mango' by L'Oreal. I hope it'll be similar to Ashlee Simpson look.
Okay I have a question! I just used Loreal Color fix on my hair to remove my black hair dye. AND it works! Im so excited. My hair is this ugly orange gold color now....Im going to wait a couple of days or so to dye my hair. My question is...IS IT SAFE TO COLOR MY HAIR RED? I really want my hair to turn out red and not black. I've used Color Oops before and it turned my hair brown and colored it a lighter brown then turned my hair black. So Im just hoping it doesnt do the same with red dye. But then again Im using a different brand plus my hair actually changed to what its suppose to. Any suggestions?
A couple months ago I went to a salon and got my blonde hair colored a medium to dark brown. I wanted to do a shade of auburn bc i love red hair, but my colorist said that I have no warm tones in my skin so I shouldn't do any colors with red tones. Is there any shade of red or auburn that works with my skin tone. I'm pale and told I have all cool tones.
I was bleach blonde, and the hairdresser made a mistake whilst doing my roots so had to turn me a peachy orange color. I do like it very much but was wondering whether using L'oreal color fix would help, and if so, where can I get it in the uk?
I was going to get it fixed, but then I thought 'sod it, you're only young once' and dyed it a brilliant bright orange color. It's so bright and extremely unnatural and I love it, I feel exciting again. I was sick of seeing tons of girls with the same hairdo as me. Now I'm an individual again!
