THANK YOU. in every editorial i can think of where there's nudity with a model of color and a white model, the model of color is always naked! it angers me and makes me think it's exotifying models of color, especially black women. it's so unnecessary and frankly lazy in my opinion.

This is what I thought . The whole feel is very submissize, almost like she is a sex object...

Maybe I'm over-analysing though, hopefully it's just because R'el has a slamming body .

I agree about her being an object in that ed. Especially the photo where she is masked. Yeah her body is amazing but I kind of feel like she's being exploited.

Lets not forget Fashion Photography can be VERY CONTROVERSIAL... Dapphne Guinness did a shoot simular in which Tyler Kenyon was naked throughout the shoot. Same thing for travis hanson, chad white and eniko... They appeared to be stark naked in their spreads whereas the others in the spread where fully clothed.. So this isn't the first time and def not the last time photographers will exploit a model to get an extreme point across. using nudity....

Yeah I felt the same way with the nudity.. Melo is not naked anywhere.

Well at least it gives R'el the most "exposure" no pun intended (well maybe a little..) seems R'el is getting all the attention on this one.
