Modeling industry veteran Paul Fisher is planning to bring together hundreds of small agencies around the world in a new venture called The Network. The Network will give Paul the leverage to change the industry from the inside out. He has two missions: to make sure agents in small towns no longer get screwed, and to empower models to take control of their careers and lead healthier lives.

Did anyone watch the premiere tonight?
I thought it was really good.. Paul Fisher is brutal but I love him
Loved all the models..

What did you guys think?

Yes, I liked the episode. I like Scouted a bit more, what I have seen of it, but then I know three of the models.

I didn't think Paul Fisher was brutal. Direct, yes. I think there might be more "touchy-feely" and certainly more gentle ways to say some of the things he said, but not brutal. It's not like he walked up to a model, looked them in the eye and said, "You're not a model, get the F out of my office." (Channeling my best Simon Cowell + Chef Ramsey)

And, wow, I could understand why he visited that agency, and it was losing money.

I can't figure out if their network ("the Network") has an agency here in San Francisco. ??? Hope the show visits SF!

eek, alison grodner. she is the one who made us big brother what it is today, for better or worse. there will definitely be a lot of annoying people on there if she has any say in it.

i will check the ep out later

So bad. And predictable. Who wants to bet the girl they send home turns into the biggest of them all? The part with the models was okay but fixing the agency was so boring. Paul is too much. His assistant is beyond annoying.

Just give me a show with Olga (love) and some models and I'd be happy. As it stands I am gonna record it and skip past the parts about fixing struggling agencies. Who cares?

I went to high school with Meghan, she has quite an interesting look!

Episode 2 summary
Modeling Agency or Modeling School?

Paul visits an agency in South Dakota and is outraged that the owner is running a modeling school for girls who have little chance of succeeding as models

I will post links for Episode 2 in 1/2 hours

This is one of the lowest rated shows in history. Should be off the air soon.

That's strange

@PaulRemodeled
this is Paul... 2 million people watched the premier and encore episodes of #remodeled. Very humbling. Wow we broke 2,000,000 viewers.

Meghan looks so great! She reminds me a bit of Selita, but her features are even better I think. She's got a more natural look and she can probably do great stuff - she might not get the high fashion stuff, but she'd do great modelling lingerie to begin with. Call VS and tell them that Meghan is in town!

I don't think he realizes just how low those numbers are. The debut actually only had 0.7 million viewers. Took three broadcasts just to cross 2 million and even then they rounded up. The CW can air re-runs of almost any show on it's line-up and see better numbers............but it is CW so maybe they will stick with it. I was surprised this did not pick up the ANTM fanbase.

joseph is so annoying, i can't stand this gremlin. just went to fierce model's facebook page - "WE ARE PROUD TO BE FIERCE MODELING AND HAVE OVER 200 CURRENT AND PREVIOUS MODELS AND ACTORS AND HAVE NEVER HAD A COMPLAINT!!!! I STOOD UP TO PAUL FISHER WHO TOLD ME HE WOULD DO EVERYTHING HE COULD TO DESTROY ME! HE CAN'T TOUCH ME I AM PROTECTED IN JESUS CHRIST WHO GIVES ME STRENGTH!" ^ oh god, agreed. it's sad, really. but what is this?

I keep getting asked, so I am posting...Fierce transitioned to an agency only format and is no longer offering classes! We are sad to see them go, as are most of our local clients, but we have started a new and exciting journey!

Lynne is such a joke.. modeling school and birthday parties.. what kind of agency does that?

probably an agency that is not surrounded with a good market - there might not be a lot of print work or designer where the models could do show rooms. what i don't understand is why she didn't think of placing her models with bigger agencies. this would have gotten her at least some money for scouting!
