Renee Zellweger was temporarily distracted by the call of the crowd on the red carpet at the premiere of Leatherheads in Maysville, Kentucky. Zellweger's co-star, George Clooney—who hails from the nearby city of Augusta—was also on hand for the small town debut. While Maysville mayor David Cartmell proclaimed it Renee Zellweger Day, he didn't forget the area's native son. "Since Renee took this day, we thought we would proclaim every other day in Maysville to be George Clooney day," mayor Cartmell announced.

I really think she is a great actress, one of the few that can do both comedy and drama, however WHAT HAS SHE DONE TO HER FACE!!!!! She has said that Meryl Streep is her idol, stop fighting the inevitable Renee you look atrocious.

Renee was very sweet, but she was very shy when it came to the fans. When she was being interviewed she didnt turn around a lot to interact with the fans (which was too bad because I was right on the fence around the time she was giving interviews). George Clooney on the other hand would do an interview then turn around and give autographs, take pictures etc. Renee was also very tiny in really life, and had a fabulous pair of Christian Louboutin's on! I was jealous

i have a really nice camera with an even nicer zoom lens
in the beginning it was really hard to take a decent picture because I had to stand on my toes to see over the people in front of me. but when she started doing the interviews, somehow i ended on the fence so i was directly behind her. i was also lucky enough to win tickets to the screening, and George and Renee were nice enough to stay and introduce the movie. Of course someone in the audience had to make a "you had me at hello" joke

she really must be tired of that joke. i mean wasnt that movie from the 90s?!

and george clooney was absolutely that charming and handsome in person. Before the screening, he had the microphone for a few minutes and he was so funny. Then on the red carpet he was so nice to the fans. He would joke around with them and take pictures with them. he was such a crowd pleaser
