I sometimes remember liking his work and tell myself 'you probably had s*it taste' lol but then I look back at collections like this and they remain intact and above all the tricks designers pull to get your attention, it is still very much Rick, a little odd but it's also so elegant and gentle with the silhouettes and textures. The opening look is 🤎✨✨.. wish he could work like this again but I guess some people make extraordinary efforts for validation and not so much to challenge themselves and once he acquired a certain level of status and guaranteed seasonal acclaim, it probably became less stressful to stick to a formula of gimmicks and a hypebeast' wishlist, add mild variations and call it a day.
