Am told by very tight sources that Rob was resisting the invitation (oscars) and preferred to fulfill a few longstanding commitments with old friends. Unfortunately professional pressures forced a change in plans.

i think that's really cute...and tbh, i don't think he belongs to the oscars just yet. twilight was a major success, but nowhere near oscar material. on the other hand people now say that zefron is gonna sing and present an award at the oscars...if that really happens and zefron is doing anything HSM-ish at the academy awards, i won't be able to take them seriously ever again

and please rob just do me the favor and put on your boots again and the blue shirt and (some nice crotch-cut-out-pants)

well, i am not surprised really that he was resisting the invite. The oscars just doesn't seem like robs cup of tea lol.

But i am excited that he is going, and I can't wait to see what he'll end up wearing....
