Robert Pattinson

it's really cute, but i think Kristens hair and make-up is horrible today...:ninja:

ya, she has the great dress but the hair... but then again, thats kinda how rob is. he looks sooo yummy in a tux!

Dudes and open-mouth posing

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart tonight in London for the Twilight UK premiere. The mayhem wasn’t exactly as dialed up as it was in America. Twilight fever is still catching on.
As for Rob – as usual, looking stoned or wanting to get stoned. Maybe wanting to get stoned since his parents were probably with him. And of course the now famous hair, dirty and in disarray, and the sideburns are getting out of control, non?
What troubles me the most though about Rob Pattinson is what seems to be an emerging pattern: Is he an open mouth poser? When Jennifer Lopez does it, it’s one thing. She’s Jennifer Lopez. She’s all about white candles and manicures.
Rob Pattinson however is supposed to be a brooding young actor who prefers the company of his guitar over a shower. Robert Pattinson is not supposed to be LipGloss. The open mouth posing then may be a physiological thing.
But seeing him in interviews, he doesn’t seem to be an open mouth breather. So what’s with the open mouth posing? And then when he’s not open mouth posing, he’s closed mouth puckering…

Check him out in this video from the Harry Potter days totally working his open mouth pose:

How do we feel about this?
I’m of two minds.
On the one hand, because he’s so beautiful, it could be kind of hot.
On the other hand, well, he’s open mouth posing. This is never hot.

haha, noticed that "open-mouth-posing" as well =) everybody needs a signature pose, right? funny enough, in the uncut interview with rachelle they already compare him with JLo - :D

^ yea, i saw that one picture and it did look like them. then i saw the rest of the pictures and noticed their white makeup.

For some reason I love this picture of him.

BBC Interview

Twilight star 'doesn't like attention'

Vampire movie Twilight has broken box office records in America and is set to do the same in the UK. Actor Robert Pattinson was amongst cast members in London for the UK premiere. Newsbeat caught up with him to find out why he's camera shy, how he copes with hordes of screaming fans and what it would take to get him wandering around naked.

It's a bit crazy what's been happening around Twilight, isn't it?

It's a little bit over the top. I feel the same in my head I guess. I was quite a paranoid person anyway, so it doesn't really feed well when people are looking at you. I'm not really in the right job. I don't like having my photo taken. I don't like the attention.

Do you have fans following you around?

Whenever I have to do anything fan-related there's always a whole bunch of people. My brain kind of shuts down when there are loads of people screaming at me. I'm not thinking at all so I can't really remember what's happened immediately afterwards.

There are stories in the papers about a multi-million pound deal for appearing in the rest of the Twilight series. Are they true?

I read some gossip thing saying, because I looked really uncomfortable in a paparazzi photo or something, they're like, 'He should get used to it. That's the price to pay if you're getting $12m (£8.1m) a movie'. If I'm getting paid $12m a movie I'd walk around naked. That's all nonsense. I don't know who makes that stuff up. Even the price for the first one was nonsense. (Gozde: Fundraiser! Can we get 12mil?)

Are you doing the next two films?

I went into it doing it as a trilogy. They're shooting the second one in March. I'm not really in it that much in the second one. The lead character is somebody else, which is another reason why I'm not being paid $12m. I've got two scenes. (Gozde: Oh bullocks! Taylor is the lead, the movie won't make that much money. Does this risk Eclipse? Did Rob read the script or is he just saying this? Damn it!)

People are calling you the next Jude Law. Do those claims sit comfortably with you?

No. The same thing happened with Harry Potter. You get a bit of heat and everybody says you're this, you're that. Then it dies down. You just do jobs. I don't know any actor who's followed through, when they say he's the next this and then he actually has become the next that. I don't get that. I don't see what the point is.

How do you cope with the screaming fans at premieres?

I'm not particularly good at coping with it. I just cope. I just leave my brain at the door and just stand there. I can get the screaming more than I get the photo things. That's the worst, when you have this wall of photographers. I've never understood the logic in how they do it. Everybody shouts at the same time, and you're trying to do a logical thing, looking from the left to the right. And they almost always end up looking disappointed with you afterwards.

Did you ever imagine that girls would be obsessed with your hair?

That's the weirdest thing ever. I don't get that at all. It's really strange.

A lot of the gossip websites seem to have an obsession with you as well, don't they?

I think someone follows me. They do the most random stuff. I get a photo taken through a burger drive-through window and it's like, 'What?'. They always seem like they're six feet away. I don't understand. I'm walking around and I don't see anybody.

Empire Article

With lusty, and lustful, teenage screams of “Bite me!” audible from the opposite side of London, it was clear last night that the undead were in town. Yes, it was the premiere of vampire/teen romance Twilight, fresh from taking the US by storm and ready to sink its teeth into the UK. With the stars in town, we got to see exactly why Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson have made such an impact as Bella Swan and Edward Cullen.
Stewart arrived first, and sung the praises of the massive crowd who gathered in Leicester Square to see the pair walk the black carpet. “This is better than the premiere in LA - we were told to expect something smaller, so this is awesome.”

She also discussed the amazing response to the movie: “I’m used to doing movies that no one ever sees, so this is everything I have ever wanted on the grandest scale!” But she's not exactly embracing her newfound fame: “I totally don’t deal with it. Some people have a problem with that and some people like it.”

Talking about the making of the movie, she told us “We were so obsessed with this thing for so long; it was so fun but it was so heavy.” And she revealed a blooper you probably won’t see on the DVD: “Robert (Pattinson) tried to pick me up in the big fight climax scene in the ballet studio, and he pulled his groin. It was hilarious though, ‘cause he like falls out of frame, and his legs are all over the top. It was really funny. He was hurt, but he was laughing.”

Next along was Christopher Mintz-Plasse, who doesn't appear in Twilight but is currently in town filming Kick-***. Escorted by flame-haired screenwriter Jane Goldman, he joked: “I wrote all seventeen books of Twilight. I just fantasise about men who are vampires with no fangs and have reflections and can walk in sunlight.” Changing tack, he then claimed: “I auditioned, I was runner up to Robert: he looked younger than I did so he got the part.” Speaking slightly more seriously about his current project, he said: “Kick-*** is going great; it’s going to be amazing. The film is wrapping this week.”

While Mintz-Plasse was clearly McLovin’ the attention, the star of the show and the sexiest man in the world according to teenage girls everywhere Robert Pattinson continued to be taken aback by the insane response from fans. “It is loud, and kind of intimidating. When people are screaming in your face it’s hard to know what to make of it.” Of the crowds, he remarked: “They camp out overnight. I don’t understand. There’s nothing I’ve ever been that fanatical about!”

Talking about his upcoming role in Little Ashes as Salvador Dali he said: “It was like complete opposite. That was a little tiny movie and this has become a huge franchise.”

He finished off with some tantalising titbits about his current dating status, revealing that although he is not “prowling around” for a girl, he is also not dating Camilla Belle as has been rumoured (girls all over the globe can now share a collective sigh of relief). Apparently ladies these days go about chatting him up in a very different manner than before: “Now it’s like (in theatrical American girl voice) “Oh I’m such a big fan!”” He also noted, of his vampire alter-ego: “I haven’t bitten anyone tonight but I have done before. I have been known for a little nibble.”

McLovin was there I so need pics.
