well i've seen that "2666" book already on older airport-pics of him, so they could have just added it...and there's photoshop. and even if they're real (her pics with him)...if i were a good friend of him i would have taken them down by now, especially after this thing "blew up". don't know...maybe they had something going on, but she wanted more and this is her payback?! but i still doubt it because some messages were too private to be written on open message boards, even i wouldn't necessarily write that stuff and i'm not anything close to a celebrity where anyone would be interested in my private life. but seriously, it's his life, he can do whatever (and whomever) he wants to

It's definitely a fake. I looked at the profile of one of his 'friends', and they had a fake Nikki Reed added, plus that same person only had about 30 friends like he did. So, they were definitely newly made profiles.
