Robert Pattinson

Watching the Water for Elephants trailers I can't help feeling like Reese Witherspoon is the worst casting choice ever to me. Robert's acting looks great, Christopher's looks even more brilliant, but Reese seems exposed and over-her-head here. I also don't think that she and Robert will have a chemistry to me that will be believable. I hope I'm wrong...
well, as Chloe said, Reese is the executive producer (financeer) of the movie so that explains her taking the role. i don't think she'd even take the role if she wasn't in a position in which her career is now - at stake. she hasn't had a hit after winning the Oscar which is now a long long time (plus, her announcing her wedding date "appropriately" just in the midst of all the WFE promotion proves it even more). for me, she was too old from the very start and from what i gather it's a general opinion across the fan base/reader base of the book (which is surprising cus you'd think they'd have a problem first and foremost with "that vampire guy getting the role"). i mean, Marlena should look like a woman who just become one, not 30something which is how Reese def looks like, so i agree about the chemistry not being believable looking at these trailers and as one can hope that it will look better in the screen indeed. Rob actually looked convincing in that clip on Leno, IMO, but it's her with the frozen face.

girls, thanks for all those pics! i love that pic with Tai, seems he really gotten to like her a lot.

"Your a bit of a national treasure in my eyes". Ugh, I love Adele. Can't stop listening to "Rolling In the Deep" and "Someone Like You".^_^

Just watched the MTV interview (I hate Leno, so I'm not watching that interview). I want to see pictures of Bear.

I tried to watch the MTV interview, but he always seems so....not all there. :ninja: So, I can never finish his interviews.
And I feel like he's worn both of those last outfits before. He always dresses exactly the same. He should try mixing it up a bit.

aww cute !
where does he keep him though ?
it has to be stressful on an animal moving around as much as he do :(

i dunno, i was hoping for that MTV guy to ask him a bit more about the dog, including how he manages to keep an eye on him (it's probably Dean who's taking care of him ), but the only thing he asked him was if it was true he got a dog and what's the dog's name. i was wondering too how he's managing the poor dog (who, considering is from a shelter, had his deal of trauma probably) with all this traveling (and the fact he lives in hotels).

is it the same dog he mentions in VF interview? I thought it was his assistant´s dog...

I always wonder that with celebs. How do they keep pets?! Or the ones who have horses. It has to be impossible, I would think.

I love the fact that he kept the dog though. People who leave their pets to fend for themselves, give me a gun and the owners won't be alive anymore. Besides, who just gets a dog out of a shelter, give him ''work'' and then just return him and will probably be put down. Where is your heart? Atleast Rob had one.

could be at the time that the interview was conducted he still didn't take him in, i think he said in MTV interview how he just got him (from what i got, just before the moved to Canada with the BD set cus there was that fake/real interview floating around from the WFE press weekend where it was mentioned he got a dog for the first time). :flower:

i remember Rob mentioning it before how he wants a dog again, but doesn't know how cus he has no house, but seriously, they don't even go out in Vancouver, who's walking the dog, feeding him and stuff since he's on set 24/7? my money's on Dean (or the dog's on set with them). either way, good for Rob, if nothing he's going to have a 24/7 companion with him wherever he goes, no? it's a win-win situation for him and a dog, no?

I think it's very nice that he actually got a dog from the shelter. I have two strays now and had them in past before and they are always so loving, it's almost like there grateful that you saved them. If he got a dog that was small in size I think it would be easier for him to manage him with his lifestyle but I do agree with you all regarding that it seems like it would be difficult to have a pet with all the traveling he does.

From 2008 :crush:

I think in the vanity fair article it says he has an assistant now - so the assistant probably walks the dog. They also probably get out more than we think they do.

I love how buzz cuts look on guys but to me only certain men can pull it off and Rob is one of those guys because he has great bone structure. Anyways he looks dreamy in the pics  Thanks Koko.

Any idea where Rob is these days? Just wondering because I was riding the trams around Prague and I saw Rob or his doppelganger.. it was seriously uncanny:shock:

^ He's in Vancouver, Canada filming at the moment. I wouldn't mind coming across a Rob clone :)
