Which good-looking young actor took a car that didn’t belong to him? After dining at a restaurant favored by Hollywood hot shots - and consuming as much alcohol as food - he pointed out his car to the valet. The valet grabbed the keys without checking to see if the numbered valet parking tickets matched, and handed off the vehicle to the actor. It wasn’t until the actor got a parking ticket on the car an hour later that he realized that it wasn’t even his car. He drove straight back to the restaurant, where a very relieved valet quickly and quietly exchanged keys. The actor didn’t pay the parking ticket, nor did he tip the valet. The first car’s owner is in for quite the surprise when they get the late notice in the mail.

ET goes straight to the source to find out if rumors that Robert Pattinson will star in the next 'Pirates' movie are legit.
As internet rumors and some published reports have speculated, Rob is supposedly lined up to play Johnny Depp's little brother in the fourth installment of the movie franchise.
A rep for Disney, however, says flatly, "It is not true."

I just re-read that and got a whole other meaning to that statement if you know what I mean :brows:.
 
Though he’s a marked manchild, Robert Pattinson has managed to steer clear of the skank brigade so far. Lindsay Lohan has yet to set her extensions all over him… but there’s time. And he lives in LA. And last night he went out in LA. He went somewhere the paps camp out. After over a week out of the spotlight, perhaps he was missing them. Maybe he does belong in LA after all?

Check out Rob after dinner at celebrity favourite Il Sole last night, although it really could have been any other outing on any other night. He really does own like 2 pairs of pants and a jacket.

Right now, Pattinson is the star of the moment, attached to every casting rumour in Hollywood, from playing the Joker (please!) to Johnny Depp’s brother in a new Pirates movie (as if!). Both would be terrible, terrible moves. Hello Orlando Bloom?? Exactly.

They say Rob’s an artist and not a famewhore so if that’s the case, chances are you’ll see him in smaller movies before the blockbusters aside, of course, from the Twilight cheeses.

Rob shoots an independent feature in January in LA before beginning work on New Moon in March. As reported earlier this week, Chris Weitz is already in Vancouver for preproduction.

Am also told that the Hollywood Foreign Press Association is pushing for Rob to present at the Golden Globes. Can you imagine? Brangelunatics and Twilight superfreaks trying to outscream each other along the carpet?

TeenHollywood: First of all, Rob Pattinson is going through the fan frenzy that you went through as Caspian. Do you have any advice for him?

Ben: Actually, I know Rob a bit. He's from very close to where I lived. I used to sing with his sister at school weirdly. We used to do Soul nights. I think it's just about having confidence. The hardest thing is when you first start to do things like this (interviews). I'm not surprised if he was freaked out at Comic Con. It's having confidence that people are asking questions because they want to know the answers not because they're trying to 'get' you. If you can't think of an answer it's okay to say 'I don't know'. You don't have to be interesting and funny all the time. But I'm sure he has a much better handle on it than I do. I wanted to be in that Twilight film but I was too old (geez, he's only in his late 20's). There's no way I could look seventeen for the next three years. Tell Rob hi and good luck for me.
 
Rob did get a new car or he's borrowing someone's! Aw, no '89 Beemer. Sad. Haha. I was kind of growing fond of it.

Little Ashes Script writer talking about Rob
Do you have a favourite scene or moment that you were looking forward to seeing bought to life?

There was one scene which I guess as a writer I'm most proud of between Dalí and Lorca. - which turns into the sex scene with Magdalena and its the scene where, well so much of when you're writing is about subtext, and in this scene they actually say what they really think and as a writer I'm most proud of how that scene turned out. I think the actors put in the most extraordinary performance, really.

The other scene I was enormously interested to see how it would turn out is the last scene in the film. Where Rob basically had the challenge of trying to convey a huge number of very different emotions to go from being completely broken down as a character to reconstructing himself as the Dalí we know. And because of time constraints we had just one shot at it and we did it all straight through. The cameraman had the camera strapped to his body and he was following Rob around, and Rob had maybe ten minutes to pull it off and he did the most extraordinary job. So I'm amazed by that!

They were there with eight other people helping a friend celebrate her birthday but sweetly agreed to pose for pictures with fans outside the restaurant before leaving in separate cars.
