ONTD giff posts are EPIC. I love the Zoolander one.

I can't believe they actually filmed them putting the boxes in the car

Hahaha that's funny..like when Rob was searching for the keys.:p
Oh well, they gotta film everything right? Paps have nothing else to do..

Sorry to be maybe a little off topic, but do any of you know if this is Rob's friend Tom Sturridge? Sorry for bad quality, thought a true fan may be able to identify him through that! Thanks xx

Yes m4fh that is indeed TomStu.

I'm more excited to see his film The Boat that Rocked than Rob's Little Ashes lol.

oh god, those pap-videos always make me feel AWFUL...especially that last one makes me feel so bad for him. that sounded more like apes following him around than grown up men. just horrible. guess he's happy being in london (although paps are supposed to be really bad there). but seems like he's avoiding those hot-spots over here.

ooh that's exciting! it's from a picture i had from when we met rob in a club in london and went back to his flat. i suddenly realised one of his friends might have been tom and you say it is! i was too drunk to remember anything which i deeply regret now as i'm sure you can imagine...

thanks LB for that interview, his face at the beginning is pure adorebleness :heart:

here's an interview with german mag Joy...quick translation from me again, so forgive my mistakes :D

„Twilight“ made you a superstar in America over night. How did you get the part?
It was pure coincidence, just luck. My US-Agent lured me to LA by saying I haven’t been there anymore for a year. So I flew there and went to some auditions. “Twilight” was one of them and I never thought I would get the part. Even less that it would turn into this huge deal. Actually acting had lost its appeal to me and I was concentrating in music.

“Twilight” is about obsessive love. Have you ever experienced something like that yourself?
Yes. I’ve been obsessed with a girl for years, but I never talked to her because I was too shy. I think that’s the best kind of love (laughs). Nothing can go wrong. When I told her about it years later, she was totally shocked because she hadn’t noticed. But she’s the reason I became an actor.

Can you elaborate that?
The girl was member in a drama club. So I also went there. I was 15 or 16 and worked behind the scenes, because I originally didn’t intend to try out as an actor. When the musical “Guys and Dolls” was being cast one of the singer parts really appealed to me – and that although I’ve never publicly sung before. Unfortunately I didn’t get the part so I played a Cuban dancer (laughs). In the next play I got the lead, but only because I had the right height. An agent sat in the audience and gave me a contract. My first movie was “Vanity Fair” with Reese Witherspoon. Later I played Cedric in “Harry Potter”.

Meanwhile you’re called a sexsymbol. Pretty flattering, right?
Bizarre. The whole last year I was talking about wanting a girlfriend, and never even got a date! Now I’m a sexsymbol for 16-year-olds, but that doesn’t help me either (laughs).

What does a woman need to attract you?
I don’t have a special type. Basically I like people who are a little crazy.

Do you believe in soul mates?
I hope that that exists. But it would be terrifying if I met the love of my life as long as I was(am?) so young. I’d probably do everything wrong (mess it up).

What kind of a family did you grow up in?
My father comes from Yorkshire and moved to London in the 70s. He had all kinds of jobs, but most of the time he was a taxi driver. My mother worked as a booker in a modelling-agency. She always meticulously checked that me and my sisters would talk articulately. My parents believed that that way you’d get treated better by people.

What does a normal day look like for you?
In LA I read scripts and wait the whole day for the phone to ring (laughs). I live a very boring life. I don’t even have hobbies!

Don’t you have a band in England?
That was already a couple of years ago, but I still like to sing. I once performed in a couple of clubs in LA. Someone taped it and immediately I was on the internet. That ruined it for me. Now I have to wait until everything calms down again. Then I will pick up the mic again. I love old blues like John Lee Hooker and I’m obsessed with Van Morrison.

You’re even on the soundtrack of “Twilight”. How did that happen?
Me and a friend wanted to record our self-written songs on a cd. That didn’t work out, but the director loved “Never think” so much, that we recorded it in the studio for the soundtrack.

Will you tell us your passion?
At work I completely immerse(?) into my character, nothing else is of interest anymore. Acting is my life!

Now I’m a sexsymbol for 16-year-olds, but that doesn’t help me either (laughs).
what?!!!??.. 6 years isnt that much of a difference!! ahaha :D jk
