oh no problem honey this cannes week is getting us overloaded with rob pic updates and as i say it myself, i could not even realize if the pics from the aids gala were from today or yesturday...so many pics..so many suits ( thanks for the answer btw white sands)

oh, rob & emile, rob has a really good taste on his male friends, tom,andrew,marcus,sam...now emile...i love lil emile, he's so cute to look at, and was so adorable in "milk".

and why do they always photoshop the f*ck out of one(or sometimes both) of them in these magazines, this time it was kristen, looks like she has no upper lip at all in that pic..

but i read on the imdb-forum that Mila Kunis is another runner up for the role of "Ally"?! good thing is i actually like her. she seems really nice and sweet in interviews and i can picture her in the part, but please no Emmy!!!

and ohh Mila, that's a nice choice, i can see that. You know who i was think too? Jessica Lowndes, the only good actress from 90210, she plays Adrianna, and is so gorgeous. I think she would be a good match for rob too.
but emmy,no way, especially now that rob said the girl has to be almost "inspirational" for him to be able to play that part right....the only thing emmy inspires anyone to, is vomit and suicide(esp when she's singing those awful songs of hers). Ok thats it, sorry for the rant

Kisses from the man himself were just auctioned off for oodles of money at the Cannes Film Festival.

R.Patzz was a guest at tonight's über-chic amfAR benefit, sitting at a table with Italian designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana (yes, Rob was in a D&G tux) and French Vogue Editor-in-Chief Carine Roitfeld.

Movie mogul Harvey Weinstein joked from the stage that his daughters changed their last name to Pattison after they saw Twilight. "Harvey then suggested auctioning off an opportunity for someone's daughter to meet and get a kiss on the cheek from Pattinson," a fellow partygoer says. "There were two bidders who paid 20,000 euros each for their daughters to have that kiss."

In U.S. cash, that's about $55,000!

"Harvey put him on the spot, in a playful way," my source says. "And Rob agreed to it in his usual brooding, modest way."

P.S.: The winning bidders were not the parents of Kristen Stewart or Nikki Reed.

Also at the annual AIDS benefit were former prez Bill Clinton, Sharon Stone, Josh Hartnett, Elizabeth Hurley and professional partyers Paris Hilton and Doug Reinhardt.

I don´t know about you girls (and guy, I didn´t forget you Edwac) but I feel like I´m witnessing the rise of a movie STAR, he´s just as cute as ever and very "Rob" but the way he moves and talks has changed imo... forget the Twilight saga (somehow I can´t wait for it to be over), I think he´s going to be huge in a few years. He has 3 new movies to shoot (very different and very challenging) and I think he´ll be able to show his talent. And he´s so very young, as time passes I hope he grows as an actor. And it doesn´t hurt that somehow Harvey Weinstein has his back lol
I keep thinking about Johnny Depp and Brad Pitt, they both started out as "eye candy" and now look at them...

I agree koko. I've been noticing how big he has gotten,especially since the Oscars. He was def most popular celebrity in Cannes this year and he seems to be getting a hold of the fame thing as time goes, but i just hope he never loses his charming ways of being all embarrassed and always humble when it comes to this whole thing and keeps being nice to fans altough the tendecy is for him to becomes less and less aprochable, even for security matters.
I think Leo could be on that list with johnny and brad too. I have faith rob will eventually have credit enough so that people can look back and go "wow, to think this was the guy who was in twilight", i mean it is possible.
It'll be def interesting to watch him as he grows in the years to come. He has a good head and knows how to play his cards right so i can only see good things in store for him.

Mila Kunis is a good option, actually. I'm on the fence about Jessica Lowndes. She's gorgeous, but I think the 90210 gig puts me off. I'm sure they'll choose the right person for the role.

I agree with the others. Rob has the potential to be huge and I also think of Johnny Depp when I look at him. Remember all the swooning we did over him in 21 Jump St? That guy was ALL over my walls. And then he turned that teenage heartthrob status into a fantastic acting career. The same goes for Leo (although I never saw the appeal). I can only hope Rob's career follows the same path.

Then again, if he decided to throw it all in and concentrate on music, I'd also be happy for him. Music Rob makes me a little giddy!
