Finally got around to reading all the Remember Me stuff and I can't believe people aren't excited about Emilie de Ravin. She is awesome. Besides Roswell and Lost she was great in the indy movie Brick and she's going to be in Public Enemies with Johnny Depp. That's a Michael Mann film. If she's good enough for Michael Mann then she's good enough for Rob.

Also who cares about the age differences. She doesn't really look 27 and Rob looks older than 23 especially with facial hair. I don't get the big deal.

And Chris Cooper and Lena Olin. Top grade actors. This is a great cast.

Chris Cooper was amazing in The Breach and Lena Olin is a legend - I mean, hello? Unbearable Lightness of Being, anyone? I'm excited for Rob that he will get to work with these 2.

I've only seen Emilie in Lost so I can't pass judgment on whether or not she will be good. I do agree that age doesn't matter, and I'm looking forward to seeing what she will bring to the role. Oh, and I can't wait to see Public Enemies!

i don't know if she is a good actress or not. i've never seen her on action. the problem is her age. she should look like 19 year old and Rob a 22 year old. unless they changed the script the story wouldn't make sense if they were older. especially Tyler

I love Lena Olin, but that's about it. I do not like Brosnan acting style, and this girl from lost is the type that I could live without . She was competent in lost, the only thing i saw her acting, but nothing to be excited about.
Cooper is another one of those, it's a good actor, but not terribly interesting.
But in my opinion, even if they had the best cast in the world, that they don't, the "Remember me" story is terribly silly, and I admit that as a rule I will not go to the cinema to see a movie where the main character called is called something like Tyler, Troy, Cody etc...
