Robert Pattinson

for anyone who cares...

a gossip site on twitter is reporting:
"London's Haiti bit is being PRE-RECORDED in London this afternoon"

when asked where, they replied:
"i dont know. nobody knows. they seem to want to keep it the biggest secret ever"

http://twitter.com/cravengossip

not sure what the truth is

I don't see why they wouldn't or shouldn't either. Like Kristen doesn't want to because she'd loose something.
It's not as if you become a different actress, you just become more polished. Just like a topsporter has the talents, but needs the training to become truly great.
She said that?! Oh Kristen, girl, you need to do something. Stuttering, blinking and grabbing your hair is not going to work for every single person you play. If acting school means losing that, I don't think that'd be a bad thing.:innocent:

i didn't say there's no hope for her, just that Rob seems more likely to be in a huuuuge movie (with far more quality) in the future than her. i think he's picking his roles very very wisely atm, and so is Kristen with taking downtime after 3 years of constant work.

hey Birgit, were you the one who asked about the next project for rob?
here it is (starts filming in june):

Robert Pattinson and Sean Penn are circling Fox 2000's Depression-era drama "Water for Elephants."Reese Witherspoon has already boarded to the film, which will be directed by Francis Lawrence. Scribe Richard LaGravenese is adapting for the bigscreen.
Based on Sara Gruen's best-selling historical tome of the same name, story centers on a Cornell U. veterinary student who leaves his studies after his parents are killed and joins up with the Benzini Brothers Most Spectacular Show on Earth, working as a vet for the circus. Witherspoon will play Marlena, the beautiful equestrian star married to August (Penn), the charismatic but twisted animal trainer.
Studio, which is eyeing a June start date, wouldn't confirm details of the project. Gil Netter, Erwin Stoff and Andrew Tennenbaum are producing.
"Twilight" star Pattinson has been on every studio's wish list. His deal is expected to close. Penn, who is in Haiti on a humanitarian mission, is the bigger question mark. He has an offer from the studio but is still mulling the role.
Pattinson is in talks to play Jacob, a 21 year old who joins a second-rate traveling circus after he’s traumatized by the car crash death of both parents. He left just before he was to take his veterinary medicine exams at an Ivy League school, and finds his place in the circus by caring for the menagerie of mangy animals. He falls in love with Marlena, the show’s star performer (Witherspoon), and that's courting danger since she's married to the paranoid schizophrenic animal trainer who runs the show. That is the role that Penn is circling. Deals still have to be made, and putting three pricey stars in a period adult drama is a challenging proposition.
Pattinson, who between Twilight segments starred for Summit in Remember Me, has been cautious about choosing his next job, but the prospect of starring in another well-known literary adaptation, potentially alongside two Oscar winners, seems a strong move. The hope is to get the picture into production around June, before he returns for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn.

Penn, who took a sabbatical for personal reasons, has also resurfaced as a potential Larry Fine in The Three Stooges. While that Farrelly Brothers-directed comedy has Fox strategically positioned as at least co-financier, the picture resides at MGM. It won't be go into production until ownership of that studio is resolved.

Witherspoon is also in discussions for the 20th Century Fox comedy This Means War. There is no director on that film, but Bradley Cooper is also circling the comedy which Fox production chief Emma Watts has revived after the studio acquired it over 10 years ago as a vehicle for Martin Lawrence. Reese would play a woman who separately meets two men, who happen to be best friends. When they discover they're pining for the same woman, the title kicks in. Will Smith and James Lassiter's Overbrook is lead producer on the film.

Robert Pattinson stepped out in London this morning ahead of his appearance on George Clooney's Hope for Haiti telethon, evidently following in the footsteps of many other actors with a serious new beard! It's a rare public outing for Robert, who has been laying very low since his holiday vacation on the Isle of Wight with Kristen Stewart and gearing up to film his ladies' man role in Bel Ami. His cameo on this evening's fundraiser will be alongside other celebs like Rihanna and Jay-Z, who are taking the stage together to perform a special new song — stay tuned for more updates as the big event unfolds!

He looks like he got lost on the Andes Mountain for a few months and ate bears for survival.

I mean, I love the beard and all but his is getting out of control. Shave man or I'll do it for you!

But Rob is back :D

btw if anyone wants a link to the "water for elephants" script send me a pm (don't want the link taken down, so not posting it here)

I like Rob with a bit of scruff (and stubble) but god, that's just awful. He looks like a caveman.

The beard is ummm....interesting.:p

I can't stop laughing at the beard! This is weird, but does it make his nose to stand out more? Looks still handome though, very masculine. And well rested!

lol...Aww^ but I can't laugh. He looks so *sad/pensive*. His skin though, wow. did he get a facial?
