Rodarte S/S 06 New York

the dresses are nice but the shoes detract from them....I think the shoes should be very simple. I also thought of rochas when I saw the first two dresses so thanks to Hanne for the reference

^agreed....
some beautiful pieces.....unusual without being mad.....

it appeals to the part of me that likes to push boundaries and provoke and yet still hold on to something predictable and solid.....

Cool. Very slick and shiny. I love the dress in post #10, the circles are pretty.

I love the drape and fluidity of the more balletic/Grecian pieces. Etherial yet intricately detailed. Even if they are nothing particularly new or innovative, they are lovely. I don't think the more structured pieces are cut particularly well, not their strong suit. More couture-ish and fashion-y then say, Diane Von F, which is clothing with mass appeal (similiar to clothing you would find in Macys, just better cut, better fabrics, etc.) that fashionistas and non alike can embrace. Probably my favourite collection so far, although i'm not wild about it.

I find most of it quite pretty. And, without being overwhelmingly innovative, it's rather interesting too. :)

My thoughts exactly

I looked at the first dress and the first thing that came to mind was :

Same here...

But I must say, absolutely lovely collection. I don't have any negative yet to say. I really like this :)
