Ah this reminds me of Norma Kamali and her husband kept her name and company. She then became OMO - On My Own....Very strange to lose one's own name to "business dealings" but a rose by any other would still smell sweet.......

that's why it is so important not to give way to shareholder companies. any kind of dispute,one will be forced to go on their own accord(though i don't think any thus far have really had much choice)or be fired. i find it extremely unsavoury the way these people work....rather than actually supporting they're really dictating.

it's such a strange world indeed. they're not even fashion designers they're merely suits who see a chance at making money in fashion.
