Galliano was a rehash of recent seasons. Some designers always repeat their makeup looks, and there's nothing wrong with that. But I'm thinking more along the lines of Marc Jacobs and Stella McCartney, who go for a more natural look. I'm surprised Galliano wasn't so creative.
Backstage Makeup Breakdown: Chloe Fall 2009 at Paris Fashion Week
Makeup Makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury created an “all-American sportiness, like an Antonio Lopez drawing” look on the models that is reminiscent of the early ’80s. The eyes glimmered in shades of taupe, chocolate and golds (MAC eyeshadows in Swiss chocolate, Mystery and Carbon) with several coats of mascara. Dirty browns like MAC Sculpting Powder in Sculpt and Shadowy were placed on the cheeks and temples to create a heavily contoured look while a touch of concealer and balm were used on the lips to seal the look.
