Russian Harper's Bazaar March 2006: Eugenia Volodina

How many times did they put Eugenia on their cover during the last year ? I think many... I would expect to see anyone on the March cover, but her. It's becoming annoying that she's getting so overdone with Russian HB and Vogue covers... As if there are no other models out there...

They put her on the cover only once in 2005 and once in 2006 and her latest cover of Vogue was in April 2004... I always though she is very underrated by Russian mags I'd like to see much more of her on the covers

I think I saw her on the cover of either Vogue or Harper's Russia very recently... Something like November/December 2005. I should go check.

Overall, I have an entirely different impression...

I find it hard to understand why Natalia V. can be so popular in Russia, there are TV documentaries made about her for gods sake while Eugenia is not widely known at all in her own country, i don't understand why since they both seems to share similiar fate (working class backgrounds than sudden leap to all this fame and money), both very successful in their careers. plus eugenia has been around longer and imo she is just as worthy of the same level of attention if not more

I think Euguenia tries to keep a lower profile than Natalia. But I agree she should get more attention. Natalia seems to like the spotlight more though.

Wow.. Nicole Trunfio.. haven't seen her around in a while.. she looks weird in some of the shots though (and then she looks like Rachel Bilson in others).. an overally overtly gloomy editorial
