I surprised and disappointed that Natalia Chabanenko couldn't find a spot in that Prada campaign. I mean afater opening and closing the first season, you would think she'd be at least given a shot in a campaign such as the one this season.
It's like impossible!i may have missed this fact but anyone realised Prada's cast is all blonde

Anna J must be so rich now!Just checked and Marcel you were right - it was cut down to two girls (Anna J and Toni). Abbey is only doing See by Chloe![]()
It's a tad ridiculous to think they all have different faces. It's a tall thin blonde overload, Emma Mclaren looks like Anna, Anna's similar to Toni, Sigrid has been mistaked for Toni, Anabella and Diana F are interchangeable, I've been to Cato's, Imogen's and Nimue's or Marloes's thread several times and I still don't know what they look like. So much for more diversity, where are Arlenis, Sessilee, Chanel and Jourdun?
I don't mind it per say, but these girls do all look the same. I doubt the general public will be able to distinguish one blonde from the other.

I think its weird Suvi also didn't make the cut for Balenciaga

TheImagistIt might be too soon to speak on the campaigns (Chanel, Dior, Valentino, Versace, Vuitton etc NOT looking like new girl moments).
We only know Dior so far.

...lets just hope the background is blurry!
I totally agree. And what's even more sad is that most of these new girls are just lame models...I just can't fathom why a designer would want such a boring, forgettable face for their campaign? It's baffling to me, really.I don't mind that all the girls are tall and thin and blonde, I love tall thin and blonde, but I'm sad for other girls who do so well on the runway and in print and can't seem to nab a great campaign... That's the cruel world of fashion for you!
Well i certainly dont belive in that theory entirely.Sadly people that i know, and are not into fashion prefer celebs or well known models (usually Supers) because they like opening a magazine and recognizing the star or the model in the campaign, it gets their attention.they want to sell the clothes. and strong models will not help cos consumers' eyes would be drawn to them rather than the clothes. believe me, where im from, people dun care abt the models. they just think of them of aliens. and in this case, these campaigns would definitely work here.
i'm not a model expert, so i have no idea who some of those girls are, but i know who iris is and like her, i think she could do balenciaga alone and it would look great. and prada, seriously... well, better than linda, that's for sure... i know who toni and viktorya are, and they've done some great work with meisel, which is good, but i have no idea about the rest of the cast...^ yep, if that theory work entirely- supermodels arent existing moreWell i certainly dont belive in that theory entirely.Sadly people that i know, and are not into fashion prefer celebs or well known models (usually Supers) because they like opening a magazine and recognizing the star or the model in the campaign, it gets their attention.
My friend always says: when i see someone like Kate Moss in the mag i stop and pause to look at what she is selling.
