Personally I don't know what to think about Georgia for Versace but...... I seriously hope she revitalises their advertising imagery after the last few seasons with the big guns Kate & Gisele, which to be fair was getting a little stale.
This might be just the kick up the **** they need and I'm saving any more comments until I see the actual pics.

I don't care how much Georgia looks like Lara blah blah blah - that's not really why this is such bad news. It's much more to do with the fact that despite her looks, the girl just does not have the talent to back them up. Either that or she has yet to develop more advanced modelling skills. All I've seen her do is the same face again and again, and I really really don't think she can handle as major a campaign as Versace. Not yet anyway...

Maybe she's not by herself? That would be more tolerable/understandable... I just can't imagine her doing a Versace campaign all by herself, and to be honest I don't think she deserves it.

Oops, i wanted to say maybe Madonna appears like Eva Herzigova in the last season. But that's clear it's not just about Mr&Mrs Madonna...

If you manage to get Madonna for your campaign it would be rather stupid to let her play a minor background part a la Eva in this seasons mens campaign and a serious waste of money.
