S/S 2010 Ad Campaigns (please read post #1 before posting)

While it is sad that Karolin was overlooked, this does not negate Nimue's power as a model she'll do a good job.
I would have also liked to see Karolin cast in this campaign, but alas, it is not so.

^^but we can compare them, and karolin [even though i'm not even interesed in her] is way more beautiful than nimue

People have different tastes, though... Nimue being a versatile model certainly isn't a fact and there's no law saying that everyone must cut her some slack. I agree that judging a campaign by its cast - before you've even seen the result - makes no sense, but it's funny how people only seem to mind casting complaints when it's a model they personally like...

Oh, but that's subjective. Personally, I find Nimue way more beautiful than Karolin, and even though it's an odd choice, I'm sure Nimue'll do a great job.

But it's okay, it isn't life or death, Nimue/Karolin/nameless wonder, i'm not sure it matters this much.

well, as i said, i don't even follow karolin's career
i'm trying to be objective and most of people would say karolin is a classic beauty while nimue is uhm... isn't.

ve seen shots of Nimue and while
she is a good model..something about her eyes
im not seeing transloate for Giorgio Armani

Nimue will kill it:D

Hear Hear! I can't wait to see how this turns out.

Lindsay for Miu Miu is good news I think. In fact it's literally the only campaign I would like to see her in. She might not have been able to prove herself as a model in my eyes so far, but she fits the collection to a tee, and I trust Mert & Marcus to do something fantastic with her features. Excited:woot:

Nimue not being a versatile model certainly isn't a factn either...

But anyway, I'm sure Nimue for Armani will be good.

Tatyana Patitz per Mariella Burani s/s 2010

Before an actual campaign comes out, I'm sure lots of different options are explored, styling/model/photographer-wise. If we knew of all those different options it would be virtually impossible to judge the end result, without thinking about all the 'what ifs'.

One is sure - Karlie will knock out with her Dior S/S 2010 campaign. : )

That's the last thing I would call sure, one of the most random choices ever. Seriously, that's so sad what happened to Christian Dior if they choose Karlie to be the face of the brand, but on the other hand crappy collections deserve proper models.

Someone delete my post N. 1393 'cause I did a huhe mistake. The brand is MARINA RINALDI not Mariella Burani. sorry.

My point exactly

Anyway. I'm not fan of Josh Olins, so that's my biggest concern about Armani. It's also the only label for which I've been fully and consistently enjoying Mert & Marcus' work. Had it been any other campaign, I probably would've been happy just to see someone, anyone new. But I hope to be pleasantly surprised.

A.P.C - M: Chiara Mastroianni, Ph: Inez and Vinoodh, Info: wwd [*Bianca*]

Anya for Bottega?!
Hm, .... I think she's a perfect choice. I'm not a fan of her but she looked great in the clothes. ^_^
