S/S 2010 Ad Campaigns (please read post #1 before posting)

^^That is very true....you can't expect images to stay just on websites like wwd and love magazine blogs...ppl will take it and run with it for their blogs/websites etc. Once it hits the net its basically a free for all. So if you don't want your ad being posted left and right, then dont send them out to websites.

... so how does the early posting of ads actually hurt the design houses' ability to sell products? it seems like a pointless flexing of muscles, to get upset about this kind of thing.

It also doesn't really ring true. The first time a Dior ad was spotted, on here at least, was in Vogue UK February, which I posted up, so it had managed to make it into print without surfacing online. To my knowledge here hadn't been any Dior ads up online before then, I'm pretty sure if there was some eagle eyed TFS member would have posted it here if there had been.

Natasha Poly may bend over backwards for Gucci — see her Spring 2010 campaign for the brand, below — but it seems to be working in her favor. The brand switched from working with Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin after several seasons to Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott for Spring 2010. As for Poly, who has consistently been in Gucci campaigns since the Spring 2005 season, she won't be going anywhere — Gucci has already renewed her contract again this year.
