why has she suddenly started doing appearances and going to hollywood parties and stuff? it seems like for ages she was never papped or photographed out and about but now she is all the time, whats that all about?

I think this too. Even if she is 'just doing promotion' shes had a career for some years and has had to do promoting before it was never like thiss. It seems she got a stylist and shes everywhere...not that thats a bad thing its just a surprise.
