i like the first pic from tampere. that petrol blue top is cute. i've always enjoyed going to tampere, i think only style i see there is this alternative style. rock city!
and the helsinki pics are good too, although they still show the alternative scene just like hel-looks. the difference is that these pics seem to be more stylish than those in hel-looks..

First attempts to take pics in Copenhagen

well, i missed my train this morning and had my camera on me so thought i would try and take a couple of pics of people around Nørreport station!
(I didn't ask so they aren't very good pics but you know, its my first try)

The first girl had on a trapeze dress and looked really good - can't really see it from the back.

The others were a bunch of kids on the way to Roskilde uni, i think.

Not necessarily representative but . . .

Is it better to ask people to take their pics? What is the etiquette for candids?
Some guy stuck his camera in my face the other day and it was a bit weird, but i think people are generally flattered, right?

@Finnish tfs'ers: What is/ are "pissis"???

it's mocking word for teenage girls who act in very loud way and dress in tight jeans and wear strings underneath. usually those strings are pulled up so that every one can see what kind of underwear "pissis" is usuing. the word usually describes girls, but i know so many guys also that go under this description. the miss sixty jeans (cheap ones) have become popular item among this teenagers. usually the word reflects the way they dress and act, but slowly it has also been used describing a person who is self-centered and selfish.

oh and about the language they use: lots of swearwords (like every second word..) and then they use letter x and z whne they write somehting. those two letters are not used often in finnish language. hope this helps

^^Oh, I so recognize what type of girls you mean! Haha . Though we don't call them 'pissis' here. And don't forget that many of them also brags a lot over all the alcohol they consumed in the weekend, mostly Scmirnoff, I believe!

i was going to add that here it's mostly cider or beer, smirnoff is too expensive

I'm going to a music festival soon, so I think maybe I'll take some pics of the streetsyle there. Should be interresting, I allways see so many hot and stylish people at music festivals

ivypixie well i think the beer is mostly to guys, but have to admit that there are bunch of girls who drink that too. they learn
